    Credit ControllerOpen on location - Wallingford, Heanor, Norwich, York, Blackpool or GatesheadValeo foods have a new role for a Credit Controller .  We are open on location across all Valeo Food Sites, including York, Wallingford, Heanor, Norwich, Blackpool or Gateshead.The main purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to the Sales Ledger and ensure the portfolio of customer payments are received within their terms. You will be responsible for creating daily sales invoices and submitting on to customers portals as well as dealing with customer queries and raising credit notes as necessary, and providing support to the Credit Control Team and Financial ControllerKey Accountabilities:Allocating daily payments to customers’ accounts and submitting the      amounts on the weekly forecast reportDealing with Customer Invoice queries and resolving these in a timely mannerTo contact customers when payments are due, by email and telephoneForwarding Retro/Promotional Invoices to the Account Managers for approval and posting to the Customer’s AccountCollecting post from our Security Office and forwarding to the relevant DepartmentsRaising Manual Invoices for the collection of Clearance stock from our various sitesRunning Credit Checks on New Customers and passing this information to Customer Services and the Account ManagerTo highlight to the Credit Manager any accounts that are causing concern
