    Web & UX Marketing Support Officer Vacancy Details Summary Salary: Grade 5 £28, - £31, per annum Location: OXSTALLS CAMPUS Job Type: Support Closing Date: 03/02/ Date Posted: 02/20/ Reference: S Description 1.0FTE, 37 hours per week The role will be based out our Oxstalls Campus but there will be an expectation to be to work at any University Campus, across Cheltenham and Gloucester. The University does have an agile working policy and there would be an expectation to be on campus at least 3 days a week. We’re looking for a Web and UX Marketing Support Officer to support the development of the website and maintenance of web content. We’re proud of our website and ambitious about the future. About the department At UoG, our Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement directorate is the creative force behind how we share our story and build strong connections. We lead on everything from student recruitment campaigns and brand development to alumni relations, market insight, communications, and public affairs. Our work is about more than promotion – it’s about sparking curiosity, inspiring trust, and creating lasting relationships with the people and communities who matter most to the University. About the role In this role, you will: - You'll manage our inbox, acting as first-line support for the team, troubleshooting, escalating and supporting where needed. - You'll work closely with colleagues from across UoG to review and update website content across landing pages, course pages, staff profiles and knowledge base articles in a timely manner. - Support the development of the website, working closely with internal colleagues in the Web and UX team, IT colleagues and external web agencies. - Capture and edit virtual tours, used to promote our high-tech facilities.     Progression Adviser - GROWS - Variable Hours Vacancy Details Summary Salary: Grade 6 £19.91 per hour Location: PARK CAMPUS Job Type: Support Closing Date: 03/01/ Date Posted: 02/10/ Reference: O Description We are seeking experienced and qualified Careers Advisers to join our ad-hoc delivery bank, supporting the delivery of Mapping Your Future – a targeted careers intervention for young people at low/medium risk of becoming NEET across Gloucestershire. This role is well suited to practising or freelance careers professionals who are looking for flexible paid work alongside existing commitments. Engagements are offered on an as-required basis, with no obligation to accept work and no guarantee of ongoing hours. GROWS is aconsortium of higher education providers in Gloucestershire, led by the University of Gloucestershire. We deliver the Office for Students (OfS) Uni Connect programme locally and work in partnership with Gloucestershire County Council to support young people’s progression. Funding is currently in place until July , with potential for extension. Mapping Your Future is a one-day (4-hour) intervention delivered in secondary schools to Year 9 learners identified as at low to medium risk of becoming NEET. Advisers deliver four structured sessions in small groups (5–6 learners) over one school day, focusing on: The full range of post-16 education options and training pathways Building awareness of realistic and achievable next steps All delivery materials, including a workbook and PowerPoint, are provided, and training will be offered. We are particularly keen to hear from advisers who: Hold a recognised Level 4+ CEIAG qualification Have current or recent experience of delivering careers guidance to secondary-aged young people Possess strong knowledge of post-16 options in Gloucestershire Are confident facilitators, able to engage and motivate young people in a school setting Delivery involves travel to schools across the county and the transport of session materials; travel expenses are reimbursed at University rates. You will be supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative team and contribute to a high‑impact programme that makes a measurable difference to young people’s progression outcomes.
