Coordinator to join us in the North West.To assist the Design Manager in coordinating the consultant team in the development of the detailed design, ensuring the design is fully coordinated and complies the United Living’s requirements and current regulations, to achieve the necessary approvals and enable a start on site in line with agreed programmes.Coordinate technical and design processes, design teams and subcontractors throughout detail design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budgetTechnical design coordination of schemes, in accordance with agreed programme, ensuring company targets are met and that the maximum revenue is generated by the quality, cost effectiveness and buildability of the design.Assisting Design Manager with reviewing of consultants detail design drawings and subcontractor designsCoordinating consultants and their deliverables driving a high standardEnsuring that designs comply with Company’s standardsPromoting design that respects budgetary constraintsProviding support to Design Manager on job runningEnsuring fully complete, correct and coordinated packages issued to Commercial and Construction teamsMaintaining and delivering in accordance with Company valuesManaging subcontractor and supplier design approvals ensuring timely turnaroundMonitoring subcontractor design approvals and keep up dated approvals schedule in line with build programmeManaging the flow of information to Commercial, Operations and Client.Updating and coordinating monthly design schedulesReviewing and There is a significant ‘Total Addressable Market’ (TAM) of over million heat pump installs happening every month making our proposition leading edge with significant growth potential.Our SaaS platform utilises cutting edge scanning technology that is operating system agnostic, using these methods heatly is redefining how technology is used to survey and create building digital twins.We require talented people to join our team to turn our MVP into a fully working, scalable technology proposition to deliver our ambition and be first to market. You will already have worked in a similar startup environment and have a proven track record in delivering, fast, quality and scalable technology platforms, with time pressure to ensure we are first to market.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a versatile and skilled Staff Software Engineer (JS). The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation our platform and application services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. This hands-on role requires a strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, Service Design, Design Patterns and a solid understanding of the wider technical stack. A strong background in agile development, code reviews and rapid software iterations is essential.Experience with WebGL whilst not essential, would be preferrable.You will sit inside a cross-cutting technical pod, supported by dedicated UI/UX, PMO and DevOps roles.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development:Design and develop software solutions: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for our platform and applications. This includes developing new features, fixing bugs, and optimising existing code.Implement features and enhancements: Collaborate with product managers and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones. Participate in design discussions and provide input on technical feasibility and best practices.Ensure security by design: Integrate security best practices into the development process to ensure that software is secure from the ground up. Conduct regular code reviews and security assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.Optimise for performance and scalability: Design and implement solutions that can dynamically scale to meet varying demands and ensure high performance and availability. Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and optimise code accordingly.Develop APIs and microservices: Design and implement APIs and microservices to support the platform’s functionality. Ensure that APIs are secure, scalable, and well-documented.Strong Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, particularly with modelling in WebGL. Experience with the various JS testing frameworks and the ability to optimise rendering and performance of client-side rendering. Some of our JS stack uses in-house, low-level WebGL libraries.Experience with CI/CD:Alongside our DevOps Teams you will help to;Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines: Set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.Integrate security into the CI/CD process: Implement security checks and controls at every stage of the pipeline to ensure secure software delivery. Use tools to perform static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.Agile Development:Participate in agile ceremonies: Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective and efficient development cycles. Collaborate with team members to refine requirements, estimate tasks, and plan sprints.Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.Continuously improve processes: Identify and implement improvements to development and testing processes to increase efficiency and quality. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.QualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.Experience:Proven experience as a senior Software Developer in a tech start-up or fast-paced environment.Strong background in agile development methodologies.Experience with devops practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation.Experience with API (RESTful/Socket/OpenQL), microservice architecture and development.Experience with cloud-native platform patternsTechnical Skills:High Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with .NET would be a bonusExperience with SQL, including schema design and optimisationExperience with testing frameworks and toolsKnowledge of CI/CD toolsFamiliarity with security tools and practicesExperience with defining and then consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.Experience with data scraping, modelling and securityMVP is currently built using the following technologies and development languages; .NET (6), C#, React, JS,MySQL, Docker, and Python.
