The Social Media Operator will support the marketing team in enhancing the profile and increasing the brand awareness. This role focuses on creating engaging and high-quality content across Xiaohongshu and WeChat to connect with target audiences effectively. The assistant will also contribute to developing and executing creative content strategies to align with the overall marketing goals of the business. The key tasks include but are not limited to:
1. Competitive Research & Content Planning:
• Conduct weekly research on competitors’ social media content trends and discuss with marketing team.
• Collect and analyse high-engagement and high-conversion posts, and write monthly content plans for ES’s social media.
2. Content Creation for Xiaohongshu (RED) :
• Develop high-quality content tailored to the preferences of high-net-worth families. Utilise online resources and existing marketing materials to create posts independently, including image design, copywriting, and video editing.
3. Social Media Data Analysis:
• Perform in-depth analysis of ES’s social media data monthly, identify key products and topics for promotion and provide recommendations for content optimisation.
4. WeChat Article Writing:
• Analyse the psychology and needs of high-net-worth parents, creating insightful and perspective-aligned WeChat articles independently.
5. Market Research:
• Conduct customer research, market/industry research, and competitor analysis to gathering key insights to support marketing decisions.
6. Marketing Strategy Support:
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the team, providing strategic input and creative ideas for marketing initiatives.
7. Fulfil any other ad hoc responsibilities designated by line manager. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
1. 1-3 years of formal experience operating Chinese mainstream social media platforms such as Xiaohongshu, WeChat, or Tiktok (excluding managing personal account).
2. Ability to independently Create Xiaohongshu (RED) Posts:
• Design images using graphic design software Gaoding).
• Edit videos using video editing tools Jianying).
• Write articles tailored for targeted audiences.
3. Bilingual in Chinese and English, with strong proficiency in English reading and translation. Person Specification：
