    Job Overview The Onboarding and Security Administrator is responsible for issuing of contracts, right to work checks, general vetting requirements and administrative ownership of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS process and Security Clearance (SC) process. This role is an integral part of the talent acquisition and employee experience function at TVS, supporting the wider team with the timely onboarding and verification of candidates. Job Responsibilities Managing the administration of new BPSS applications for TVS including: Issuing and tracking new BPSS applications Liaising with external security organisations at partner companies Managing and communication with applicants via email and phone Managing paperwork Chasing references Minimising the timescales for completion Updating internal databases Verifying official documentation Populating the ATS system with candidate details and obtaining GDPR consent Ensuring all data is accurate and up to date Carrying out right to work checks, including visas and share codes Supporting the wider vetting team with ID and reference checks, proof of residency and employment history checks. Identification and delivery of supply chain strategy and continuous improvement projects. Job Responsibilities Team Leadership Provide leadership to the Supply Chain teams, maximising performance and nurturing team development Work with the wider supply chain team to understand best practices across the business and implement improved processes to drive efficiency and performance improvement. Lead/ support strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery Develop direct reports into future leaders to better support the business ensuring the team is resilient and fit for future growth. Conduct regular employee communications as part of the project communication schedule to ensure all colleagues are informed of business performance. Conduct end-of-year reviews (annually) and 1-2-1s (monthly) with staff on a periodic basis.   Deliver Business Objectives Responsible for all aspects of service delivery including availability, backorders, stock levels etc. across TVS SCS Clients ensuring Client KPIs are met in these areas whilst mitigating commercial impact to TVS. Create, record, and communicate team performance against agreed targets. Follow the SRM process for measuring and escalation of suppliers’ performance, whilst driving continuous improvement. Work Collaboratively with stakeholders supporting the performance of both the team and individual. Ensure supplier issues affecting service delivery and process are dealt with efficiently and effectively. Lead and support meetings where applicable. Represent supply chain in new business requirements including bidding, solution design, client briefings and implementation.   Process & Performance Improvement Lead the delivery of the Supply Chain Function whilst ensuring effective processes followed. Adopt a philosophy of Continuous Improvement. Effective stakeholder engagement. Drive a RFT attitude delivering excellence. Engage and motivate a team of Supply Chain Professionals. Qualifications and Skills Educated to degree level or have relevant experience working within a Procurement / Supply Chain Department Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Team leadership skills. Interpersonal skills both written and oral. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, best practice principles within a Procurement function. Full Driving License and willingness to travel Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail Self-driven and motivated to achieve completion of projects in a timely manner Challenges the status quo and champions change in an assertive, supportive, positive, and empathic manner.
