    Overview
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate MEP Cost Manager to join our busy Real Estate team in London. You will play a key role in supporting a longstanding, high-profile account with a household technology and telecommunications organisation that operates a large national estate.What You’ll DoLead on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) deliverables within larger projects or manage direct MEP commissions, such as asset upgrade works.Establish early budgets, provide early estimating, and develop cost plans.Manage design teams to budget, oversee tendering and procurement (single and two-stage), and deliver post-contract reporting.Mentor Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within the MEP team.Collaborate with contractors and MEP supply chains, ensuring robust and effective relationships.Support the development of MEP digital systems and tools, and promote best practices within the business and wider MEP community.
    Qualifications

    The data centre sector is key to Turner & Townsend alinea and as part of our continued investment in the sector, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Cost Manager to join us.  This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to work as part of a dynamic team working with Clients throughout the UK and Europe.  The role is based in London.Your CV and experience will demonstrate that you have ideally worked in a consultancy, successfully undertaking cost management works at a Senior Cost Manager level.  Experience within the data centre sector is also ideal.  Individuals will have excellent technical skills and be able to work as part of a team and take ownership for their element of delivery. You enjoy leading clients through all stages of projects from feasibility, pre-contract and post contract ensuring value for clients.This role will suit individuals with experience in negotiation, procurement, post contract cost management, contract creation, execution and analysis to maximise operational and financial performance, reduction of financial risk and continuous commercial performance.
