We’re looking for an exceptional electrical engineer or physicist with expertise in ultrasound to help us shape the future of surgical device innovation. At TTP, you’ll work on breakthrough technologies that improve clinical outcomes and surgical workflows – from robotic-assisted surgery systems to intelligent instruments with embedded sensors.In this role, you’ll:Lead and contribute to technically ambitious, commercially valuable projectsApply ultrasound technology across the innovation lifecycle – from early feasibility and concept development to product launchEngage directly with clients to shape strategy, build lasting partnerships, and deliver high-impact outcomesGrow your presence in the surgical technology community and contribute to shaping industry direction.Every project offers a chance to explore new scientific domains, develop project leadership and client relationship skills, and make a tangible impact on patients and clinicians alike. About YouYou thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and you’re excited about leading multidisciplinary teams and growing client relationships.You have deep expertise in ultrasound, gained through a PhD/post doc or industrial experience and awareness of most of the following areas; deep expertise in one of them is desirable:Transducer design and fabricationUltrasound signal processingHigh speed electronics for ultrasoundRegulatory considerations e.g. 60601-2-37 complianceMetrology e.g. scanning hydrophoneYou are:A self-starter with a strong sense of ownershipIntellectually curious and inventiveStrategic – able to see the bigger picture, anticipate challenges and opportunities, and stay focusedA strong relationship-builder who listens attentively and engages thoughtfullyEntrepreneurial and adaptableMotivated by the real-world application of science and technology
