    Overview and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Site Director and with a dotted line to the VP Finance for the region, this role supports our Sheffield Site Leadership team and overall site performance, responsible and accountable for all aspects of business partnership, finance, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting to achieve optimal results. Key Duties and Responsibilities:The primary purpose of the role is to contribute to the attainment of the company's business objectives by:Partnering with the Site Director to provide overall business finance support – acting as both a tactical & strategic advisor.Providing effective leadership within the business.Ownership of the site month end financial close, ensuring completion within Group deadlines.Ownership and review of the balance sheet reconciliations.Managing the financial outlook, ensuring an accurate forecast and good understanding of the key drivers of variances.Providing insightful analysis, support business decisions, understand key contracts and KPIs, providing analysis of variances and support of corrective actions as required.Leading the preparation of consolidated reports, strategic plans, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for the business.     Overview and Responsibilities IntroductionThe Machine Shop Inspector will carry out inspection activities on machined products to ensure conformity to drawing/customer requirements in conjunction with TT Electronics Fairford's Quality Management System.Key Responsibilities• Carrying out first-off inspection of individual piece parts to drawing requirements and final quality inspection;
    • Carrying out final assembly inspection of backshells and adaptor assemblies for direct supply to the customer;
    • Carrying out documentation checks on all completed jobs;
    • Carrying out in-process inspection (. part mark and thread checks) prior to part assembly;
    • Carrying out Goods Receiving verification of supplied machined parts & raw material;Carrying out First Article Inspection and completing First Article Inspection Report (FAIR);
    • Recording inspection results on the relevant statistical spreadsheets;
    • Maintaining test & verification tooling used for mechanical inspection in conjunction with the Tool-Store Supervisor;
    • Monitor machined scrap and bar stocktake;
    • Booking of raw material to relevant job cards, inventory transfer of material relocation; 
    • Any other task as directed by the Head of Machine Shop. Qualifications, Skills and Attributes Core RequirementsThe successful candidate will: • Have a background in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environments with experience of Defence/Military & Civil Aerospace products;
    • Have the ability to read and understand a variety of technical data including General Assembly drawings, machining drawings, technical specifications and procedures;
    • Have experience in the use of a variety of measuring devices essential (including Vernier callipers, micrometers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, wire gauges, shadow graph);
    • Possess general IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio etc);
    • Have attention to detail in all areas of inspection and test essential;• Be capable of working with minimum supervision;
