    ­­­­­­Could you be part of our team?Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Support Worker (Older People) to join our team at 7 Eastwood Crescent, Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire G46 8NS. This is an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around East Renfrewshire.In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as a Bank Supported Housing Worker we will offer you: -Bank shifts worked over a 2 week rolling rota.Mix of day and back shifts, working both weekdays and weekendsCompetitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour Paid PVG check & Professional Membership including SSSCAccess to paid training and a vocational qualificationWhat we’re looking for in our Support Workers:You’ll be working with our tenants to make sure they receive the support identified in their personal plan, ensuring they continue to enjoy as much independence as possible. You will assist with meal delivery and provide support in the dining room, there may also be very occasional kitchen duties. It’ll be rewarding looking after those who rely on the support and dedication you’ll bring to this important role. Support Worker Skills and Experience:Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and previous experience of working with older people or other vulnerable members of a community, so you will understand their needs and know how to meet these.     Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at Abercromby Street, Calton, Glasgow City G40 2RZ on a permanent part-time contract of 21 hours (average) per week.We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.As a Cook your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant.
