p strong Principal or Associate Electrical Design Engineer – (MEP / Building Services) /strong /p p strong Hertfordshire – Hybrid Working /strong /p p strong £60k - £75k + Benefits /strong /p p strong /strong /p p Consultancy / Construction / MEP / Building Services / Senior Electrical Design Engineer / Associate Electrical Design Engineer / Principal Electrical Design Engineer /p p br /p p This role is for a team playing senior electrical design engineer, you will join the MEP team of an established multi-disciplinary consultancy reporting to the electrical director. /p p You’ll be working on complex and high specification design and/or construction projects, creating or upgrading industrial, research, manufacturing process and pharmaceuticals. Projects are based throughout the UK and Europe and there is an emphasis on technically challenging work /p p br /p p strong Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Detailed design drawings with a specialisation in electrical system design. /li li Preparing specifications and schedules and design development reports. /li li Taking projects through from inception to completion and handover. /li li Undertaking survey work. /li li Production of feasibility reports. /li li Producing cost estimates /li li Attend site progress meetings and review installations. /li li Supporting junior staff. /li li Maintaining good client relationships. /li li Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams. /li /ul p br /p p strong Experience Required /strong /p ul li Preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in building services or electrical engineering. /li li Solid electrical design experience in the building services sector. /li li Chartered or working towards chartership would be advantageous. /li li Great interpersonal skills, a team player and a genuine interest in helping others. /li /ul p br /p p strong *All applications to us here at True Engineers are reviewed against the role you applied to by an experienced recruiter not a computer or AI /strong . /p p br /p
