    Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in North East England to help recruit a Consultant Microbiologist for a substantive post, but will also consider a Locum Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months minimum.

    We are looking for a highly motivated Consultant to join our established Microbiology team, providing clinical leadership, expert advice, and advancing infection services across the local region.

    The Role

    As Consultant in Microbiology, you will:
    - Provide expert clinical advice in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of infections.
    - Play an active role in infection control and hospital-acquired infection management.
    - Contribute to antimicrobial ward rounds, ITU ward reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings.
    - Support and develop specialist services including OPAT, antimicrobial stewardship, and MDTs.
    - Supervise, develop, and ensure quality in laboratory services, maintaining UKAS accreditation standards.
    - Take on rotational leadership roles within Microbiology, with additional PAs available where appropriate.
    - Participate in teaching, audit, and research, with encouragement to pursue personal interests in subspecialty areas.

    Triple West Medical is seeking a Locum Consultant Dermatologist for an NHS Trust based in Yorkshire for a min 24 months FTC.

    The Trust have over 10,000 staff offering comprehensive range of acute and community services over a number of sites to over 1 million people. You will have excellent clinical skills and expected to be active in the teaching and supervision of all multi-disciplinary staff.

    The candidate will join the current team of 11 Consultants and 1 Associate Specialist. The Trust provides a full range of general dermatology services. There are three dedicated dermatological theatres and facilities for PDT, phototherapy and patch testing. Day case theatres for complex surgical procedures are available.

    The department employs a team of specialist nurses providing dermatological surgery, skin cancer clinics and chronic inflammatory disease management. The department is also supported by an associate specialist, 2 Specialty Registrars, 3 GPVTS Trainees, a physician's associate and two nurses specialising in skin cancer.

    The Trust have over 10,000 staff offering comprehensive range of acute and community services over a number of sites to over 1 million people. You will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to lead on the shop floor. You will be expected to be active in the teaching and supervision of all multi-disciplinary staff.

    This is a new post to achieve Ockendon and CQC standards within the unit. There is potential for this post to be made substantive at the end of the fixed term agreement, subject to the usual recruitment processes. The service is currently undergoing changes to the consultant rota to divide the Gynaecology emergency and labour ward on-call duties as per CQC and Ockendon requirements

In addition, a further two theatres are dedicated to obstetric patients and a new Endoscopy building is currently under construction and will house two theatres for the provision of general Anaesthesia for endoscopy procedures.

    Within this role the successful appointee will be joining a team of 29 Consultants, 6 associate specialists 12 CT and SPR anaesthetists on a rotational training programme, where they'll be asked to fulfil various duties such as: providing perioperative care for patients undergoing a wide variety of both elective and emergency surgeries, providing support to the resident on call rotas covering either general emergencies or labour ward and participation in the educational and training programmes within the department and hospital.

    This is a great opportunity for the successful appointee to develop and define specific educational needs and interests & this trust have a proactive encouraging approach to doctors wishing to achieve CESR having successfully supported a number of colleagues through the process.

    We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK help them recruit a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.

    Our client has a 9-bedded Intensive Care Unit with an adjacent 4-bedded Coronary Care Unit. The ICU has about 600 admissions a year. The ICU actively participates in several multi-centre trials. The ICU has its own Research Nurse. There is a separate junior doctors rota exclusively for critical care and includes trainees from Medicine and Anaesthetics. There is a dedicated consultant anaesthetist for Intensive care from 0800 to 1800 hours every day and a separate on call consultant anaesthetist for critical care, with regular ward rounds including weekends. The 10-bedded Surgical HDU is located on the same floor as theatres. There is a dedicated ward round by a Consultant Anaesthetist with an interest in HDU each weekday morning and by the ICU on call consultant at the weekends. Facilities exist there for full invasive monitoring, inotropic support and CPAP. The Surgical HDU has about 1000 admissions a year.

    The appointee will be asked to undertake various duties, these include: The post holder must maintain liaison with colleagues who are on duty immediately before and after, The post holder will participate in the resident duty rota with other middle and junior grade medical staff in the Department, These posts will contribute to the provision of cover for emergency theatres or obstetrics, Anaesthesia in remote environments, transfer of critically ill patients when on-call. Post-holders will also be encouraged to develop an interest in medical education or quality improvement, and will be supported in doing so, the post holder will have delegated responsibility for all the patients under care of the Consultants. They will refer to the Consultants when problems arise which are beyond his authority and/or experience & The post holder will be required to actively participate in clinical audit and implement its results and relate these to the Trust and Directorate policies on Clinical Governance.
