    Contract: Long-termI'm supporting a specialist contractor delivering firestopping spraying packages on a major infrastructure project, and they are looking to appoint an experienced Revit Modeller/Technician to join the team on a contract basis. This role offers remote working and the opportunity to support one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure programmes.You'll be responsible for creating, coordinating, and maintaining BIM models to support the delivery of firestopping works, ensuring all design outputs meet project-specific standards.Key Requirements:
    * Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, including clash detection and model coordination.
    * Ability to create and manage Revit families, produce schedules, and manage model data.
    * Experience modelling MEP services and/or architectural elements within Revit.
    * Confident presenting and communicating models to project teams and stakeholders.
    * Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models to deliver clash-free, compliant outputs.
    * Ability to maintain and update BIM models in line with revisions and project documentation.
    * Understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and adherence to project BIM standards.
    * Excellent attention to detail when producing or reviewing detailed design information.
    * Familiarity with QA/QC procedures for BIM models and Revit deliverables.

    I'm looking to speak with experienced Engineering Managers / Designated Project Engineers (DPEs) ahead of a large, long-term rail and infrastructure improvement programme due to commence in early 2026.
    The programme covers a portfolio of renewal and enhancement schemes across the Eastern region, including civils, structures, stations, and M&E works. Projects will vary in scope from bridge reconstructions and platform upgrades through to drainage, embankment stabilisation, and building refurbishments - each delivered within a live operational rail environment.
    The Engineering Manager / DPE will provide technical leadership and assurance across these works, ensuring design integration, safety, and compliance throughout all stages of project delivery. You'll be involved from early design through to construction, handover, and close-out, supporting multiple workbanks and interfacing with internal teams, consultants, and client representatives.

    Key Responsibilities:Manage the full engineering lifecycle across multiple work packagesOversee technical assurance, design governance, and CDM complianceReview and coordinate multi-disciplinary designs for buildability and safetyProvide technical support to project and site teams through deliveryLead interface management across civils, structures, and M&E disciplinesRepresent the project at assurance reviews and stakeholder meetingsRequirements:Background in civil engineering with experience on major infrastructure or rail projectsUnderstanding of DPE duties and engineering assurance processesStrong coordination experience across design and construction teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThis position is not required until February / March 2026, but I'm starting early conversations with senior engineers and technical leaders who may be open to exploring opportunities ahead of that timeframe.
