    We are looking for an experiencedElectrical Engineerto join a medium sized team based across educational sites inAberdeen (AB25).This is a permanent, full-time role covering planned and reactive maintenance tasks, minor electrical installations and remedial tasks.

    This role is covering 6 sites around Aberdeen, there is a Work Van to be used when travelling between sites ONLY. Not too and from work.

    Duties:
    • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
    • Carry out minor installations and repair works.
    • Carry out Remedial works and log inspection reports.
    • Complete Risk assessments before completing jobs.
    • Carry out testing and inspection.
    • Perform a full service delivery (i.e. painting, plumbing, joinery, complete works 100%).
    • Complete conditions surveys
    • Complete Fixed wire testing.
    • Operate a PDA Device.
    • Attend all training and participate in appraisals.
    • Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
    Requirements:
    • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (2330/2360) or Equivalent
    • City & Guilds 18th Edition BS7671
    • City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent
    • 3 years of Experience as an Electrician Minimum
    • Experience working in an industrial or commercial or educational environment
    • Health & Safety Knowledge and understanding
    • Strong Administration skills for documentation purposes
    • Ability to obtain a DBS.
    • Driving Licence Required

    Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor.
    Working in one of the worlds most iconic landmarks, the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will report to the Project Director, supporting the Agile Works and Projects Teams at key stages so accurate cost and contract advice is provided. Additionally, the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with the management responsibility for a team of Quantity Surveyors, Assistant & Trainee Quantity Surveyors.
    Working closely with the Projects Teams which generally deliver high volume low value works from £5k to £3m respectively. The Agile Works is primarily through a measured term contract utilising the PSA schedule of Rates & the Projects Team works are delivered via NEC3 or 4 or JCT fixed price.
    Main Responsibilities:
    Preparation of pre-tender estimates / cost planning.
    Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants Pre & Post tender.
    Compilation of tender packs including managing queries from tendering contractors.
    Review of tender returns and cost alignment ensuring compliance with tender documentation including preparation of contract recommendation reports.
    Completion & updating of NEC3 activity schedules.
    Carry out take offs and site measurement for material procurement and final accounts.
    Check and approval of all MTC pre-measures and final accounts.
    About you:
    You will hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
    Have previously held a Senior QS position with either an M&E Service Provider or Contractor.
    Have experience with Maintenance and Service Contracts.
    Have experience of JCT, NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract.
    Be proficient in the full Microsoft Office package.
    Possess good technical knowledge and understanding of M&E works.
    My client is looking for a well organised and self-starting Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    ***Due to the location of work, this role will be subject to security clearance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Site management of all mechanical works

    • Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers

    • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site regulations

    • Progress reporting to the Project Manager

    • Quality assurance and snagging

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager

    • Background in renewable energy or low-carbon projects (ASHP, solar, heat networks)

    • Strong leadership and coordination skills

    • Experience in healthcare or live environments (preferred)

    • Experience working in a live environment (essential)

    • SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant H&S certifications

    Reporting to the Project Lead, the Electrical Foreman will be responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, and supervising a number of electricians across the Data Centre, ensuring safe and high-quality work, as well as ensuring the work complies with all electrical codes and standards.
    Additionally, the Electrical Foreman will interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics to guide the installation and maintenance of electrical systems as well allocating resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to maximise efficiency and meet project deadlines across Data Centre Whitespace Fit-out programmes of works.

    You will ideally be bi-lingual (English/Portuguese) preferred, not essential
