About the RoleYou will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process and maintaining stringent control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. Job OpportunityMain Tasks / Accountabilities:• Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports. • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. • Assist with the establishment, maintaining, and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. • Analyse and review budgets and expenditures for business units.• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. • Prepare and review, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents. • Analyse revenue and expenditure trends. • Resolve accounting discrepancies. • Supervise and provide support and direction to other members of the team.• Prepare and manage external statutory audit and financial statements.• VAT,ROS & RTD Submissions.• Assist with cashflow management and reporting.• Prepare and submit results into group reporting package..• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and promptly.• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.• Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.• Prepare financial reports for various stakeholders, including management, regulatory bodies, and investors.• Ensure closing for certain legal entities with proactive involvement in management accountant duties/tasks
Essential Skills• Qualified accountant• Good Excel skills• Ability to priorities and schedule work• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.• Able to communicate at all levels within country and at group.• Confident to work with other senior managers and proactively look to improve process/control and governance to drive efficiency. • Looking to progress and be proactive in driving the finance function both within the team and within the business.
