    Job Opportunity• Raise and process purchase orders in line with approved budgets and procurement procedures• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring technical specifications and calibration requirements are met • Support the preparation, review, and administration of supplier service contracts, including calibration service agreements, maintenance contracts and business overheads • Track orders, deliveries, and lead times to support operational planning and minimize downtime.• Build relationships with new and existing suppliers including face to face meetings• Setting up supplier SLAs (Service Level Agreement), developing and maintaining Supplier Score cards • Developing tiers of approved suppliers• Maintaining supplier database to reduce new and unapproved suppliers • Maintaining the supplier NCR (None Conformance) procedure for complaints • Working closely with the customer to understand and fulfill their requirements and attend regular meetings • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal quality procedures and customer requirements• Delegation of Authority Audits • Liaise with internal departments (laboratory, quality, engineering, finance) to ensure needs are clearly defined and fulfilled.• Occasionally you may be required to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given.

    Job OpportunityJoining our team as an on-site Test Rig Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation used in Customer Production Test Rigs areas in accordance with Company Procedures, recognised specifications and other set standards. You will maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilising Trescal management systems.Your key responsibilities will include:• Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice calibrating electrical, temperature, load, force, flow and pressure measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards.• Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately; check completion dates and worksheet instructions to ensure work is completed on time.• Produce and audit calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.• Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.• Occasionally you may be required to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given.
    Essential Skills• Have an electrical diagnostic background with knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and mechanical principles.• Formal qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive demonstrable experience in and understanding calibration, both practical and theory.• Previous experience in Jig/Tool recertification would be beneficial.• Excellent reporting and communication skills.• Experience of working within a customer focused environment.

    Job OpportunityJoining our team as a Pyrometry Calibration Engineer. Key part to this role is the inspection and validation of certificates (Trescal and third party). Maintaining relevant records of work, data, and results in a traceable and auditable manner. Utilising NADCAP and UKAS to carry out Calibrations and support the customers technical needs. You will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation used in Customer accredited processes in accordance with ISO 9001, Company Procedures, and recognised specifications.Your key responsibilities will also include:Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice. Calibrating measuring instrumentation on a customer site to traceable standards.Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately.Participate in customer surveillance and accreditation audits.Maintain the availability of the Laboratory standards as dictated by the Head of Quality.Perform internal cross comparison audits within the Laboratory as required.Produce and audit calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.Conduct all duties in accordance with Company Health and Safety procedures and policies.Provide technical support to colleagues on request in line with capability.Work unsupervised to approved calibration procedures.Understand and utilise calibration procedures and have a good understanding of the importance and application of the AMS2750 standard in calibration.Sign certificates in the agreed area of expertise.Maintain and produce accurate calibration records enabling the production of calibration certificatesAdditional reasonable duties as required by the role and Career Level.

    Essential SkillsHave a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above.Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.Knowledge of Windows-based and laboratory automation software.Experience of working within a customer focused environment.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work with the minimum of supervision & manage your own workload
