The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and engaging with client prospects as well as managing client relationships during the full life cycle of client campaigns. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably with a background and awareness of digital.Key position responsibilities:Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales processCultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them by using knowledge of each industry and organizationFormulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsGenerate daily outreach efforts (direct mail, digital marketing, cold calls) to prospective clientsDevelop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's servicesPresent TransPerfect's solutions via one-on-one, group, online and in-person meetingsSet and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practicesManage and control pricing and contractual issuesTravel (including multiple annual conferences, client meetings) - domestic and/or international
