    Job Description
    Part-Time Personal Tax Accountant

Location: Office-based in Surrey but flexible/hybrid/remote working options considered
Salary: £50,000-£65,000 FTE (dependent on the seniority of role you take on)

We’re working with a dynamic, award-winning accountancy and tax practice who are on the lookout for a CTA/ATT/QBE Personal Tax Accountant. The firm are known for doing things differently – no stuffy suits or endless spreadsheets here. Instead, they focus on practical, commercial advice that genuinely helps their clients thrive.

And that’s where you come in.

    What’s on offer?
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who’s got a solid grip on personal tax, but is maybe at the stage in their career where work-life balance is more important.

    What you’ll be doing:
The requirements of this role are fully flexible. Essentially they can offer a fully compliance based portfolio, reviewing personal tax returns completed by more junior members of the team. Or, if you would rather utilise specialist knowledge you've already built, the role can encompass some advisory work.
Therefore if you are managing a compliance based portfolio, client contact isn't always necessary. However, if you taking on advisory work, liaising with clients will be important.

RequirementsYou’ll thrive in this role if you are:
CTA-qualified, with a solid background in personal tax. Or ATT / ACA qualified with extensive tax experience.
Confident working autonomously as the practice are looking for someone that can take over a portfolio of clients with minimal support.
Looking for flexibility, autonomy, and genuine impact in your day-to-day work.

    BenefitsWhy this role?
You'll likely be at the stage of your career where you're looking for a good work-life balance. The hours for this role are part-time so around 15-25 hours depending on your requirements.
Full flexibility to mold the role around you, and your experience. You can decide whether you'd like a fully compliance based role or a portfolio with some compliance work.
Please note this is a permanent employed role, so wouldn't be suitable for someone running their own portfolio of clients and looking for a top-up in hours.

Apply today through Kourtney Luckett at TPF Recruitment and let’s explore what this could look like for you.
