An international Law firm is seeking to hire a Global Mobility Tax Assistant Manager to work in their Sheffield/Leeds/Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen offices to manage international assignments and cross-border working arrangements. Global Mobility Tax Duties: Provide guidance on the tax implications of international employee mobility, including overseas assignments, cross-border working arrangements, remote working requests and international business travel. Assist with the assessment of UK and overseas employment tax obligations for employees working across multiple jurisdictions, including payroll and social security considerations. Review and evaluate tax treaty relief opportunities, short-term business visitor arrangements and international social security requirements. Contribute to the identification and mitigation of tax and permanent establishment risks associated with international working practices.
