    What you’ll doWe are looking for caring, reliable, and flexible individuals to support an inspiring woman with a spinal cord injury who lives life to the fullest as a full-time wheelchair user. Care assistants enjoy a varied role, including holiday support, and a love of animals is a plus. No prior qualifications or experience needed as comprehensive training, shift shadowing, and ongoing team support are provided.
    Qualifications

    What you’ll need:No previous care experience is required for this role; however, experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:Knowledge of C-Pap ventilationStoma CareAdministration of MedicationMoving & Handling Equipment

    What you’ll doWith this role you will be supporting a person in their family home to live as independently as possible. Our client has a spinal cord injury and the duties with his care include, catheter care, moving and handling, administering medication and light domestic duties. Our client lives with his wife; they enjoy going out for walks, attending church and visiting the lake district. We are looking for a care professional who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high quality and attentive care.There is a care team in place and we are looking to add another carer to support with contingency cover. 
    Qualifications

    You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full nurse led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.Due to limited public transport routes in the area a driver is preferred for this role.
