    Domiciliary Care Worker (Home Care Worker) Belfast Full-Time/Part-Time £12.21 -£12.77 (depending on experience/shift pattern) TotalCare are seeking dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to join our compassionate care team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality personal and practical care to clients within their own homes to enable them to live as independently as possible while maintaining their dignity safety, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. Responsibilities Deliver care in line with individual care plans and risk assessments. Assist clients with personal care, from washing and bathing, to dressing, to catheter/stoma care. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required Support clients with mobility and safe transfers, using appropriate equipment where necessary. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being. Assist with household tasks, including light cleaning, laundry and shopping. Monitor and report changes in a client's health, behaviour or wellbeing to the appropriate person. Maintain accurate care records and documentation. Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies at all times. Experience Personal Attributes: Caring, compassionate, and patient nature Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and trustworthy Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to undertake training and professional training Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in a care or support role (preferred) NISCC registration (or willingness to apply upon starting NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential) UK Right to Work Vehicle Business Insurance Enhanced Access NI This role is an excellent opportunity for compassionate professionals eager to provide essential support within diverse community settings.
