The Role As a Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you'll provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to a wide range of clients, helping first-time buyers, home movers, remortgage customers, buy-to-let investors and those seeking protection solutions. You'll manage your own diary and client relationships while benefiting from a consistent flow of quality leads and a comprehensive support structure. Key Responsibilities Provide professional mortgage and protection advice in line with FCA regulations. Advise clients on residential, remortgage, buy-to-let and protection products. Build long-term relationships through exceptional customer service. Conduct thorough fact-finds and recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions. Generate new business through qualified introductions, referrals and networking. Manage your pipeline from initial enquiry through to completion. Maintain accurate and compliant client records. Work closely with administration and compliance teams to deliver an outstanding client journey. Keep up to date with market changes, lender criteria and regulatory developments. About You We're looking for advisers who are passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes and building long-term relationships. Essential CeMAP qualified (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification). Competent Adviser Status (CAS). Experience providing regulated mortgage advice. Strong knowledge of residential mortgages and protection products. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with a strong commercial mindset. Ability to manage your own workload and pipeline. Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Existing client bank (not essential). Experience within a self-employed environment. Experience advising on Buy-to-Let, Specialist Lending or Equity Release. Why Join?
