    Duties:
    You will be helping to support local Nursery settings
    Following routines of the nursery and children
    Working alongside the nursery team
    Ensuring the nursery environment is safe and secure
    Supporting the children at meal times

    You must have:
    An Enhanced DBS dated within 1 year, be on the DBS update service or be happy to apply for one.

    They are looking for a qualified nursery nurse who can bring new ideas and a fresh outlook on childcare and to who can mould and fit in well with their already built team.

    The nursery thrives on outdoor learning and works with Natural Play Builders to bring a fresh look to their garden on a monthly basis. As well as planning and activities brought to the children from the team, the nursery has many external companies that come into the nursery to deliver workshops to the children including sports coaching, dance & music and fun with maths. The children benefit from visit to their local community to extend their learning and use different amenities.

    You will need to have a good understanding of the EYFS and be able to complete observations and learning journals on key children.

    The role will be full time Monday to Friday and the nursery works on a shift rota of 8-5:30pm, 8:30-6pm or 9-6:30pm. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus one week at Christmas when the nursery is closed. A uniform will be provided.
