    THE JOB ROLE Due to our continues success and rapid growth this is a fantastic opportunity for a

    self-motivated and enthusiastic Mineral Planning and Estates professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at our new Head Office in Kincardine and will play a key role in the development of the future land supply of our business with responsibility for a substantial portfolio of mineral extraction and processing sites, estates and other land assets.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Manage and assist in the development of the Tillicoultry Quarries Mineral Estate portfolio. Taking the lead on planning projects, including the submission of applications, monitoring throughout the determination process, responding to comments and discharging planning conditions. Provide expert advice to the operational business to ensure the license to operate is maintained. Assist with the identification, assessment and securing of new land and mineral opportunities which have the potential for future development. Work closely with landowners and/or agents to ensure progress of land acquisition targets and planning applications. Engage with local planning authorities to promote sites and discuss development proposals through formal and informal routes. Liaising with and advising operational and commercial colleagues on site development, estates management, planning and environmental issues linked to the development of assets. Engage with stakeholders to develop relationships and participate in local liaison events to keep local communities engaged in our activities.

    WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Degree or post graduate level qualified in a relevant discipline and, preferably qualified in planning. Experience working within the extractives industry. An excellent knowledge of the planning process and minerals planning practice including the current methods, legislation, techniques and guidance which direct the services we provide. Ability to build a rapport with a variety of people from all backgrounds. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (ideally at advanced level) Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem-solver with agility and a proactive approach to work. Ability to manage time effectively. Adaptable, flexible with the ability to work to deadlines. Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel around UK sites.

    and East Anglia. Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at our Tulliallan site

    in Kincardine.This role will be based out of our workshop and will play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe so we can continue to deliver quality and service to our customers.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out and arrange routine and statutory inspections, maintenance and repairs to VOSA standards. Ordering of vehicle parts and managing stock control. Service scheduling and preparation of vehicles for MOT Testing. Fault finding and experience in vehicle diagnostics. Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and safe working practices are adhered to. Ensure all vehicle records are maintained to the required standards. Liaise with suppliers to ensure necessary parts are available. Tyre Management

    WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU Proven experience in an HGV mechanical role. A willingness to work under pressure in a challenging, fast paced environment. A flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business. Ability to work as part of a team and individually on their own initiative as required. Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers. Full driving license. Class 1 / 2 license would be desirable but not essential. A relevant HGV mechanical qualifications such as City and Guilds is desirable but not essential.

    THE JOB ROLE Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quarry Manager based at our Loanleven Sand & Gravel Quarry. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    Carry out daily safety, maintenance and service checks; Safe and Efficient Operation of the Equipment; Work closely and follow instructions from the Production Manager; Follow the Quarry Development Plan; Meet site Productivity Targets; Integrate with and work as part of a small team; Maintaining existing and implementing new Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Training; Managing and overseeing the safe operation of the Quarry and the planned preventative maintenance of all site equipment; Ensuring the Plant meets operational and production requirements; Proactively managing both mandatory training and developmental training of staff; Carry out additional Quarry Duties as required

    WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

    At least 3 years experience managing and leading teams; Excellent awareness of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation; Completed, or be working towards, a SHE NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent); Excellent understanding of Quarry Regulations 1999 and ACOP; A good understanding of plant and machinery, including maintenance planning.

    Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Manager with a strong knowledge of Concrete to join our team. Our Assistant Technical Manager will report to the Technical Manager and be based at our Head Office in Kincardine, Central Scotland. WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assisting in the development and testing of new products and processes. Monitoring and auditing product quality, checking compliance with company standards and reporting as necessary. Assisting with the management and development of our team of materials Technicians. Assessing compliance of products to existing and developing standards or specifications. Work in partnership with our commercial and operational teams. Root cause analysis of non-conformance of materials at customer sites / assisting with investigating and addressing customer complaints. Represent the business within industry association meetings, including participation in relevant technical committees. Production of meaningful technical reports and KPI data. Providing product knowledge training and support where required. Carrying out routine internal audits and assisting with external audits. Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by the Technical Manager. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

    Relevant industry experience, with a proven track record in a similar role. High level of technical knowledge of construction materials particularly concrete. Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships, managing teams and positively influencing people. Ability to communicate at all levels in business, build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and customers. High level knowledge of industry standards and specifications. Demonstrated ability to keep up to date with relevant industry developments. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Personal drive and motivation.
