About the role The Business Analyst (BA) identifies, analyses and articulates business problems and opportunities, translating them into clear, testable requirements and measurable outcomes. The BA collaborates across Product, Technology and Business teams to enable change that improves customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial performance, ensuring traceability from problem statement through to benefits realisation. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in enhancing and protecting the Group’s external financial position and reputation through effective investor management and corporate communications. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with up to 3 years post qualified experience.  A demonstrated understanding of the Group’s operations and its financials and/or experience in retail, tech and financial services organisations.  Excellent written and presentational skills with the ability to prepare material for exec level discussion.  Demonstrable experience in writing reports/presentations.    Be comfortable working to tight deadlines under pressure, and in targeting the business with deadline adherence.  Technically excellent with the ability to deal with complexity and communicate complex financial matters in simple terms.  First-class analytical skills with the ability to interpret critical information and data.  A self-starter with the confidence to provide opinion and with the desire and charisma to develop highly productive stakeholder relationships . Ability to see the wider picture and can reflect on how The Very Group and specific issues are perceived from an external perspective, both financial and reputational.  Some of our benefits.
