We’re building capacity for future growth and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Liverpool. This role is perfect for a hands-on, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.You’ll play a key role in shaping the finance function — strengthening financial processes and controls, producing clear and insightful management information, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust budgeting and forecasting.This is a chance to make a real impact as we expand our presence in the Liverpool region, working closely with business owners and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding financial performance and insight.Responsibilities and ExperienceManage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlImprove and maintain financial processes and internal controlsComplete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reportingLead and develop a small finance teamPresent financial information confidently to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersStrong Excel skills (including PivotTables, SUMIFS, and charting)Experience with Xero (Sage 50 and QuickBooks experience is a plus)Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACMA / FCCA / ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years’ experience)Role DetailsLocation: Liverpool (on-site)Hours: Part-time, 2/3 days per weekSalary: £35 per hourType: Part-time, self-employedAbout UsAt The Part-Time Finance People, we’re passionate about helping business owners build more successful, happier businesses.
