Role: Plant Operator / Labourer
Location: Petterden, Tealing, By Dundee, DD4 0QB Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Regular overtime available. Typically 10-hour days with every second Saturday required. Rate of Pay: £12.98 per hour Who Are We? As a Plant Operator at our Petterden site, you will play a key role in day-to-day site operations by: Operating 360 excavators, wheeled loading shovels and telehandlers safely and efficiently Supporting the operation of the wood shredder as part of a team environment Full training will be provided for the wood shredder operation. Carrying out routine plant checks and reporting any defects promptly Assisting with general site duties and labouring tasks as required Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and safe site operations Following all health and safety procedures at all times What Are We Looking For? Experience operating 360 machines, wheeled loading shovels and telehandlers Valid plant tickets preferred, although recently expired tickets will be considered A strong team player with a proactive attitude Commitment to working safely and supporting wider site duties when required Flexibility to work overtime and alternate Saturdays What’s In It For You?
