There is also resident cover provided with an Intensive Care Fellow of our 13 Intensive Care beds, and 4 Resident Fellows (RMOs) who provide 24/7 provision for the non-oncology / haematology beds, as well as 4 Non-Resident Fellows covering this service. Job ProfileAs a Non-Resident Oncology Fellow, you will provide clinical and medical support to the patients on the Oncology ward, and Outpatient Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy Units, through the provision of general patient care and medical procedures. Job Type: Full-Time, 1 or 2 year fixed term contract, with possibility of further extension. Hours/Shifts: WTE is 44 hours per week Inc. 4 hours CPD, working 8am-5pm (1 hour for lunch) Monday to Friday, plus up to 1 in 4 Saturday morning sessions (9am-1pm). Also located within Pathology, Immunology also performs IF slide preparation on the Biosystems iPRO, Fluorescent Microscopy (Euroimmun Eurostar II) as well as allergy testing using the ALEX2 Allergy Explorer Job Profile As a Biomedical Scientist you will carry out technical and scientific work in the laboratory under the direction of the Chief/Senior Biomedical Scientist or Consultant mainly in the Immunology and Biochemistry Departments. You will work alongside the Blood Sciences team members and leaders to cultivate and maintain a culture in which staff are continuously improving the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective services. Job Type: This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
