Company Turnover: £30m+The OpportunityDue to continued project wins and sustained growth, our client - a well-established mechanical contractor with a turnover of circa £30m - is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.The business specialises in delivering high-quality residential projects with values up to £12m, working with reputable developers and main contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant QS looking to progress their career within a growing and supportive business.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the commercial management of mechanical (M&E) packages on residential projectsSupporting cost control, valuations, and final accountsAssisting with subcontractor procurement and account managementHelping prepare monthly cost reports and forecastsWorking closely with Project Managers and Senior QSs to ensure commercial successAssisting with variations and change controlAbout YouMinimum 1 year's experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial roleM&E experience preferred, particularly mechanical, but candidates from other construction backgrounds will be consideredDegree-qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldStrong numerical and analytical skillsEager to learn, develop, and progress within a growing businessWhat's on Offer£30,000 - £45,000 salary (DOE)Competitive benefits packageFull support for further education, including assistance with any current or ongoing financial education commitmentsClear career progression within a stable and expanding contractorSupportive team environment with exposure to high-value residential schemes
