    About the Role
    The Education Network is working in partnership with a number of special schools and mainstream schools with SEN provisions across Leeds and surrounding areas to recruit compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants.
    This role involves supporting pupils with complex needs, including personal care, helping them to access learning in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and specialist staff to meet pupils’ individual educational, emotional, and physical needs.

    This position is ideal for experienced SEN support staff or individuals with backgrounds in care, health, or support work who are looking to move into education.

This is a part-time role (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), starting as soon as possible, and is ideal for an English Teacher who wants to make a meaningful impact in a SEND setting.

    As the English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons from Key Stage 3 up to GCSE level, adapting your planning to meet a wide range of needs. You will be teaching smaller-than-average classes, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants who help ensure every student receives the attention they need to succeed. The role requires a QTS English Teacher who is committed to giving every student access to an outstanding education, regardless of the barriers that they face.
