As PM Shift Manager you will oversee the late shift operations, ensuring smooth handover from the AM team, efficient resource allocation, and compliance with company standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll make a real impact on service performance and customer satisfaction.
    Duties & Responsibilities·Lead and supervise the PM shift team, including drivers and warehouse operatives, to achieve service targets and KPIs.·Oversee end-of-day operations, including vehicle returns, unloading, reconciliation of non-deliveries, and depot organisation.·Plan and optimise delivery routes.·Conduct driver debriefs, ensuring accurate reporting of issues and completion of HHT reconciliation.·Monitor compliance with health & safety, driver hours regulations, and company policies.·Handle escalations and problem-solving for delivery issues, route disruptions, and customer queries during the shift.·Maintain accurate shift reporting, including performance metrics and incident logs.·Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of drivers and operational staff.·Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and customer service standards.·Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless handover between shifts.
