And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from youYour MissionRaise Teya's engineering talent bar — and keep raising it. You'll be a strategic partner to engineering leadership, owning hiring outcomes for our most critical roles and leading the initiatives that make our process faster, fairer, and more consistent across every location. We're deliberate about talent density: a small number of exceptional engineers compounds faster than a large number of good ones. So you won't just fill roles — you'll help design the system that ensures every hire meaningfully raises the collective bar, using AI-assisted tooling and modern sourcing to move at speed without trading away quality.Who you hire matters more than how many you hire. You'll sit in the central Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, and work hand-in-hand with the people who shape engineering at Teya:VPs and Directors of Engineering — on workforce planning and hiring priorities.Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers — on interview design, bar-raising, and selection decisions.Talent and People Partners — keeping levelling, expectations, and progression aligned with Teya's Career Framework. You'll be the go-to voice on what "great" looks like in engineering hiring, and you'll help others across the business raise their game.Your ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end hiring for our most critical and complex engineering roles (senior ICs, leads, niche profiles) across London, Porto and Latvia — with a bar-raiser lens on every hire.Co-design and lead centralised pipelines for core engineering families, so we think globally about talent instead of team-by-team.Run high-quality hiring manager intakes that turn lean briefs into clear role definitions, success outcomes, levelling and interview plans.Standardise interview loops and rubrics so candidates are assessed fairly and signal is comparable across teams and geographies.Lead debriefs and decision-making — making evidence-based calls and keeping our technical bar high, including advocating for a no-hire when the signal doesn't meet the standard.Design and run sourcing strategies for hard-to-hire profiles, including AI-assisted outreach and agents, outbound campaigns, events, and partnerships with external communities.Coach and upskill hiring managers and interviewers on structured interviewing, candidate experience, decision quality, and what talent density means in practice.Own recruiting metrics for your areas (time-to-fill, offer acceptance, pass-through rates, quality-of-hire) and present insights and trade-offs to leadership.Drive cross-functional projects that improve how we hire engineers — levelling clarity, interview training, employer brand, and AI tooling that makes us faster without lowering the bar.Your ResponsibilitiesExtensive experience in technical recruiting / talent partnering, with time in high-growth tech, fintech, or product-led companies.A track record owning senior engineering hiring — Senior/Staff Engineers, Engineering Managers, Security/Platform specialists — across multiple locations.Experience designing or overhauling hiring processes: centralised pipelines, interview structures, rubrics, or calibration — ideally with a talent-density or bar-raiser philosophy at the centre.Comfort operating with senior stakeholders — you can challenge, influence, and bring people together around a clear plan.Deep, creative sourcing capability, including practical use of AI tools for outreach personalisation, sourcing automation, and pipeline analytics. You open new talent pools rather than competing in the same ones as everyone else.Strong analytical skills — you're used to building dashboards, spotting bottlenecks, and using data to prioritise your time and experiments.A builder's mindset — you fix broken processes rather than work around them, and ambiguity energises you.A genuine interest in engineering and product, and an instinct for how great teams are built and scaled — and a belief that who you hire matters more than how many. How We HireStructured, fair, and fast. Here's roughly what to expect:1. Intro — a first conversation with the Head of Talent Acquisition.2. Craft — how you build pipelines, loops and rubrics.3. Stakeholders — partnering with engineering leadership.4. Bar-raiser — talent density in practice, with data.5. Offer — decision, feedback, and welcome. The PerksWe trust you, so we offer flexible working hours, as long as it suits both you and your team.Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, and digital fitness and nutrition apps. Our company offers extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and support.Cycle-to-Work Scheme.Health and Life Insurance.Pension Scheme.25 days of Annual Leave (plus Bank Holidays).Office snacks every day.Friendly, comfortable, and informal office environment in Central London.Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from youYour MissionYou'll own customer onboarding, the journey that turns a signed merchant into an active member of Teya. You'll be the operator who takes a problem like "first-pass approvals are stuck at 70%" or "merchants keep dropping off at the app-login step" and ships the fix. You'll own the funnel end to end, drive the metrics that matter (first-pass approval rate, activation, time to activate), and partner across Sales, Risk, Engineering and Design to make onboarding fast, simple and reliable across our markets.Your TeamYou'll join the Sales Platform team in Product, which owns the systems behind how Teya acquires and onboards merchants: customer acquisition, onboarding, the sales CRM, pricing, and the dialler. The team serves Teya's sales channels across Europe (field sales, inside sales, Independent Sales Consultants, resellers, and self-serve), and onboarding sits on the critical path for our unified sales platform. We move quickly and use modern tools to do it. AI is part of how the team works day to day, with Glean and Claude flowing into our workflows and internal skills and automations that let a small team ship at the pace of a much bigger one. You'll use these from day one, and you'll help us build new ones.Your RoleOn a regular day, you'll:Own the end-to-end onboarding journey within the Sales Platform, from offer acceptance through to an activated, transacting member, as the directly responsible individual.Drive first-pass approval rate by stripping out document friction and rework, and cutting the manual escalation load that currently props the flow up.Own the roadmap and the data, finding where the funnel leaks, building the business case, prioritising, and reporting on what moved.Use AI as a core part of your workflow, building and using reusable skills and automations to find drop-off, draft requirements, and move faster across the job.Your StoryYears of experience matter less than what you've shipped. That said, most people ready for this role have roughly 3–5 years in product, ideally on an onboarding, activation or other conversion-sensitive flow. You’ve built funnel dashboards in product analytics tools like Amplitude, defining event taxonomy and posing specific questions to be answered with data. You've owned a funnel and moved a metric, and you can talk through what worked, what didn't, and what you'd do differently. You're comfortable in the data. You can pull your own numbers (SQL or a self-serve tool) and turn them into where-to-focus decisions. You can work across Risk, Engineering, Design and Sales without hand-holding, and you're at home with ambiguity and a lot of stakeholders.Experience in payments, fintech, or another regulated environment (KYC, identity, compliance) is the strongest signal, but not a hard requirement. You're genuinely capable and curious about AI tooling. You've used Claude, ChatGPT or similar in your work, and you're excited to build agentic workflows that raise the quality and speed of what you ship. You like simple over clever, you can strip a messy requirement back to first principles, and you'd rather ship and iterate than wait for perfect. You're commercially literate. You can connect a lift in activation to revenue, and you know why it matters. You're happy working onsite from our London or Porto office. What makes this role differentIt's B2B to SMB. You're building for small business owners, where every step you remove from onboarding is a real business getting paid sooner. It's multi-market. UK, Iceland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, with more expansion this year. The stack is modern and powered by AI. Glean, Claude, and other AI tools flow into our workflows, unencumbered by legacy systems. You'll be armed with the tools and training to work at the cutting edge of what's possible. The PerksPhysical and mental health support through our partnership with WellHub, including gym access, 1-1 therapy, meditation, and digital fitness and nutrition appsWork from our offices in London (House of Teya, next to Blackfriars Bridge) or PortoPrivate Health and Life InsurancePension Scheme25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays)Opportunities to travel to our different offices across EuropeRegular merchant experiences at our headquartersHealthy office snacks and drinksTeya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from youYour Mission As a Business Analyst at Teya, you will sit at the heart of how we measure and forecast the economic value of our products. You will work across our credit, acquiring and business account products to keep our valuation, unit economics, and customer lifetime value models grounded in how merchants actually behave. Your work will inform pricing, segmentation, and investment decisions taken at the most senior levels of the company. You will start from problems already mapped by the team or identify new opportunities yourself, then structure how to solve them through rigorous analysis, testing, and collaboration with product, finance, and growth. Whether you are rebuilding a Net Present Value model for a credit product, pressure-testing the assumptions behind a pricing change in acquiring, or designing the analytical framework for a new product, your work will sit between data and decision-making. Operating at the intersection of analytics and business strategy, you will bring a critical eye to how forecasts are built and how they are used. You will challenge assumptions, validate model outputs against in-market performance, and make analytical contributions that range from a single product feature to the broader picture of Teya’s economic engine. From day one, your work will have immediate, tangible impact on company performance and on how Teya thinks about its business. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain Net Present Value, unit economics, and customer lifetime value models for Teya’s products across credit, acquiring and business account, ensuring assumptions are grounded in observed merchant behaviour.Conduct in-depth analyses of customer behaviour and product performance, identifying the levers that drive value creation and the assumptions in our models that do not hold up under scrutiny. Design, implement, and analyse experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, natural experiments) to validate hypotheses about pricing, credit risk, customer segmentation, and product strategy. Develop and monitor key metrics and dashboards that track real-time portfolio and product economics, surfacing where actual performance is diverging from forecast and what the team should do about it. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering to translate analytical insights into product, pricing, and commercial decisions that get implemented. Conduct investigative analysis to identify data gaps, model limitations, and opportunities to improve valuation methodology, proactively surfacing insights that change how Teya understands its business. Create clear, compelling presentations and documentation that translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to the executive committee. Requirements 1 year + in business/credit analytics, valuations, credit risk, customer analytics, or strategy in financial services, lending, or a similarly data-driven environment. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and Excel and/or Python for modelling. Demonstrated analytical problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to break down complex, ambiguous business challenges into structured, solvable components and develop actionable solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical analyses into clear business insights and influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences. Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity, able to take initiative in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving projects forward without extensive oversight. Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams. Ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders effectively, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. Familiarity with lending economics is a plus — expected loss, risk-adjusted returns, cohort repayment curves. The Perks We trust you, so we offer flexible working hours, as long as it suits both you and your team. Physical and mental health support through our partnership with WellHub, giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, and digital fitness and nutrition apps. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from youAbout the Supply Chain teamSupply Chain owns the end-to-end lifecycle of Teya’s payment terminals: sourcing hardware, moving it from manufacturer to each market, allocating stock against live merchant demand, tracking the deployed fleet, and recovering devices when merchants churn. The team runs on a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) rhythm and is measured on clear operational outcomes across fleet efficiency, cost and service. Our job, put simply, is to get the right terminal to the right merchant at the right time, as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. The RoleThe Supply Chain Business Analyst is the analytical engine of the team. You turn fleet, stock, demand, cost and productivity data into the decisions that keep terminals flowing to merchants — and keep our unit economics healthy. You will own our planning models, our KPI and SLA reporting, and the financial analysis behind key calls such as how much stock to hold per market and whether to run operations in-house or outsource them. You report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and work closely with Operations, Finance, Procurement and the country teams.Key ResponsibilitiesS&OP and stock managementRun the demand and supply planning cycle. Set and maintain stock targets per market, balance lead times against demand forecasts, and prevent both stock-outs and costly overstock.SLA and KPI tracking and reportingOwn the reporting for the team’s core KPIs and service-level targets across fleet efficiency, device recovery and delivery performance. Surface risks early and turn numbers into action.Budget tracking and monitoringTrack spend against budget and unit economics, monitor variances, and give the Head of Supply Chain a clear, current view of where money is going.Financial analysis for make-or-buy and procurement decisionsBuild the financial models behind in-house versus outsourced decisions, quantify the trade-offs, and recommend the option that best balances cost, service and risk.Productivity and workforce planningModel capacity and cost — linking terminal volumes and SLAs to headcount and shift plans.Your StoryMust haveProven experience in supply chain, S&OP, operations or a comparable analytical function.Strong hands-on data skills — writing your own queries (SQL, e.g. in Snowflake), advanced spreadsheet modelling, and turning raw data into clear reporting.Comfort with budgets and financial analysis, including cost modelling and make-or-buy / business-case work.A genuinely data-driven approach — you reach for evidence before opinion, and you can defend your numbers. The ability to connect data with AI — using tools like Claude for AI-assisted coding and agents, and Vercel to build and ship lightweight apps and dashboards — to remove manual work and scale your own impact.Beyond the skills, this role needs a certain kind of person. You will thrive here if you:Are driven by results — you measure yourself on impact, not activity.Take real ownership — you treat problems as yours to solve end-to-end, without waiting to be told, and you take pride in what you ship. Quality matters to you.Adapt fast and stay curious — you stay effective in a fast-paced, changing environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, learn quickly, and are curious about new tools and better ways of working. Are obsessed with improvement — you are never quite satisfied, and you keep making the process, the data and yourself better. The PerksPhysical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition appsOur company offers extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and supportCycle-to-Work SchemeHealth and Life InsurancePension Scheme25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays)Office snacks every dayFriendly, comfortable and informal office environment in Central LondonTeya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. Hello. We’re Teya.Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better. They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from youYour MissionYou'll build the lifecycle programmes that turn new Teya merchants into long-term members. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to own the end-to-end build of campaigns and journeys that genuinely move the numbers on activation, cross-sell, and retention, translating into fantastic outcomes for our members and hockey stick growth for Teya. You'll be the operator who takes a commercial problem, like "onboarding in Portugal stalls at step 3" or "UK merchants aren't discovering Tap to Pay on their phones", and launches a Braze journey that fixes it. You'll bring the ideas, run the experiments, and partner closely with the rest of the team on the strategy that sits behind the programmes you own.Your TeamYou'll join Owned Growth, a newly formed team inside Teya's marketing function that covers CRM, lifecycle, website, and sales communications across 9 European markets. Led by the Head of Owned Growth, the team works closely with regional marketing teams, Product, Analytics, and Brand. We're a team that moves quickly and uses modern tools to do it. We're deep users of Braze, Snowflake, Amplitude, and Lokalise, and we've built internal AI-powered workflows (Claude skills, Cowork automations and Glean agents) that mean our relatively small team can ship at the pace of a much bigger one. You'll use these tools from day one, and you'll help us build new ones.Your RoleOn a regular day, you'll:Own a portfolio of lifecycle programmes across onboarding, activation, cross-sell, retention and win-back, taking briefs or spotting opportunities yourself, building the campaigns in Braze, and reporting on performanceLaunch in Braze hands-on: building Canvases with multi-step logic, creating Liquid for personalisation, setting up segments, configuring triggered campaigns, and QA'ing everything end-to-endWork across channels, including email, in-app messaging, push, SMS, WhatsApp, and content cards, choosing the right channel mix for each audience and marketRun a test-and-learn programme on the campaigns you own, defining hypotheses, setting up A/B and holdout tests, analysing results, and turning findings into the next iterationLocalise at scale, working with Lokalise and our regional teams to deliver campaigns across up to 9 markets without losing quality or nuancePartner with Product and Data, feeding into product launches with lifecycle plans, and working with our data platform team on the events and attributes you need for targetingUse AI as a core part of your workflow, working with automations and managing each step of the process with reusable skills that make you and the team fasterGet close to our merchants by joining customer calls, shadowing our CR and Inside Sales teams, and using real merchant insight (not just dashboard data) to make campaigns betterYour StoryYou probably have around 4-6 years of CRM, growth marketing or lifecycle marketing experience, though we care more about what you've actually built than what's on your CV.You've shipped real lifecycle programmes that moved commercial numbers, including onboarding journeys, cross-sell campaigns and retention flows, and you can talk through what worked, what didn't, and what you'd do differentlyYou're fluent in Braze (Canvas, Liquid, segmentation, Connected Content) or a comparable platform you could transition from quickly. You can build a multi-step journey with branching logic yourself, not just brief itYou're comfortable in the data. You can pull your own numbers in Snowflake or similar, or read SQL written by others, and you translate data into targeting and personalisation decisionsYou're a strong writer. You can draft campaign copy that sounds like a real human wrote it, and you can tell the difference between lifecycle copy that converts and copy that's just wordsYou're comfortable working across multiple markets and languages, and you know the difference between translation and localisationYou're genuinely capable and curious about AI tooling. You've used Claude, ChatGPT, or similar in your work, and you're excited to leverage it to increase quality and improve your output across the skills listed above: data analysis, copywriting, localisation, platform fluency, and are interested in building agentic workflowsYou're commercially literate. You can connect a 0.5% lift in activation to revenue, and you know why that mattersYou have an eye for design and care about how a campaign looks, even when you're not the one designing itYou can run your own projects end-to-end (briefing, building, launching, reporting) without needing to be managedYou thrive in a fast-moving environment and would rather ship and iterate than wait for perfectYou're happy working from our new headquarters in Central London at least 3 days a weekWhat makes this role differentIt's B2B to SMB. You're talking to small business owners about things that materially affect their business (yesterday's sales, their funding options, inventory and more), with value and utility over promotional noise. It's 9 markets, with more expansion this year. UK, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and more coming. The stack is modern and powered by AI.
