    Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25.  Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.     You will be responsible for
    Coordinating the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers Supporting your colleagues, ensuring they deliver daily priorities and take regular breaks Opening and closing the store, and completing duty cover, ensuring all decisions made are right for everyone's safety Being the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager for day-to-day queries Making sure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented Supporting managers to coordinate seasonal, community and charity events Contributing to a great team atmosphere, that's inclusive of everyone Providing great customer service, by listening to our customers and putting them first in everything you do Keeping the team well-informed and up to speed on any communications, changes, or updates Staying knowledgeable about store performance, and looking for ways to improve and simplify operations Coordinating store improvements, and removing any obstacles that might be getting in the way of great service Following health and safety routines and procedures, and ensuring colleagues do the same Recognising and celebrating colleagues within the team who are providing great service

    You will be responsible for
    Pharmacy Assistants are integral to the running of our Pharmacies. We are looking for someone who is a team player, and can take on the following responsibilities: Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies. Applying your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers. Dispensing prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy are maintained at all times. Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly and professional manner, providing our customers with a great service, making them want to visit our Pharmacy again. Offering appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products. Taking time to understand the customers’ needs, explaining the benefits of the products in a way they understand and only selling products that are right for the customer. Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available. Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to the Standard Operating Procedures. Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions. Dealing with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence. Responding to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines, informing the Pharmacist of any complaints. Ensuring all dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed. Ensuring dispensary and consulting rooms are clean, tidy and free of clutter. Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time. Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives within the team to life. Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure we trade safely and legally. Completing corporate and departmental training. Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
    You will need
    Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment. A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.

    You will be responsible for
    Technicians are integral to the running of our Pharmacies. We are looking for someone who is a team player, and can take on the following responsibilities: Supporting the management of one of our new modern Pharmacies. Applying your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers. Dispensing prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy are maintained at all times. Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly and professional manner, providing our customers with a great service, making them want to visit our Pharmacy again. Offering appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products. Taking time to understand the customers’ needs, explaining the benefits of the products in a way they understand and only selling products that are right for the customer. Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available. Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to the Standard Operating Procedures. Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions. Dealing with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence. Responding to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines, informing the Pharmacist of any complaints. Ensuring all dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed. Ensuring dispensary and consulting rooms are clean, tidy and free of clutter. Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time. Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives within the team to life. Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure we trade safely and legally. Supporting the Pharmacy Manager and Duty Pharmacy Manager with the supervision and development of other members of the pharmacy team through coaching and feedback. Maintaining a personal development record with the GPhC and completing corporate and departmental training. Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy. Maintaining annual registration with GPhC.
    You will need
    A pharmacy technician/ accuracy checking technician NVQ (or similar) qualification Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician. Proof of completion of a recognised training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/ Pharmacy Technician. Proof of completing your annual Continuing Professional Development requirements.     Tesco:  Contract: Permanent Shift Pattern:  Varies from day to day but are planned in advance   Should you be successful in your application, your offer will be subject to and conditional upon you providing your bank account details before your agreed start date.
    You will be responsible for
    • Recruiting and training the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond in their role by developing their operational and leadership skills.
    • Coach your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality and service to ensure they keep coming back. • Lead your team in the driving of trade activity, and use your expertise and knowledge to grow sales and maximise profit.
    • Lead and build your managers knowledge to deliver and sustain Store Change Plan and resource planned activities ensuring that hours are worked when and where these would most benefit customers, and to identify and resolve root cause issues, with sustainable solutions and continual reviews. • The safety of your colleagues is your top priority, and you ensure your store is always trading legally by coaching the team to use all security tools available to provide a safer place to work.
    You will need
    • You are a great communicator who will share knowledge, experience and best practices, you understand the importance of what you do and work collaboratively with your team to deliver results.
    • You are natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of whatever you. You take the time to listen and understand others, building strong relationships with your colleagues and customers.
    • You use your energy and resilience to keep momentum going when working in challenging environments. You own the decision making for the store, and can act quickly, making decisions based on what is right for customers and colleagues.
    • You have energy and drive to deliver beyond expectation. You do the right thing whether everything is going well or times are tough, and know how to consistently be at your best, you inspire confidence in those around you.
    •You are aware of what our competitors are doing and you are always looking for ways to build and deliver new initiatives to help improve our store for customers.
