    Overview of Role:

    As a cleaning operative you will be required to undertake cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & safety Regulations.
    (The CQC is the body which makes sure Health service`s provide people with safe effective and compassionate care).

    Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

    - Make sure that our customers have a better day, every day by ensuring that your assigned areas are clean, presentable and serviceable at all times.
    - Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the Hospital, in line with operational standards.
    - Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
    - To carry out/ensure all duties required in connection with the cleaning and waste collection within designated premises are completed.
    - This job can be physically demanding and can involve some lifting from time-to-time.
    - Comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness.
    - To organise and assist with laundry duties and rotas (where required).
    - Using and storing of cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
    - To have responsibility for your area and ensure it meets the high standard set.
    - Contribute to maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers on the site.
    - Ensure that you comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
    - Any reasonable requests from your line manager applicable to your role.

    Role Summary:

    Overview of the role:

    We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Mobile Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness of shopping trolleys and baskets. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all trolleys and baskets are sanitised and ready for customer use, contributing to a positive shopping experience and maintaining hygiene standards within the premises.

    You will work with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.

    Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:

    - Cleaning & Sanitising: Clean and sanitise shopping trolleys and baskets thoroughly using the appropriate cleaning products, ensuring they are free from dirt, debris, and germs.
    - Inspection: Inspect trolleys and baskets for damage or wear and report any issues such as broken wheels, handles, or other defects to management for repair or replacement.
    - Storage and Organisation: Ensure that cleaned trolleys and baskets are properly stored in designated areas and organized for easy access by customers.
    - Window cleaning customer premises as required.
    - Waste Disposal: Ensure proper disposal of waste materials collected during the cleaning process.
    - Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, particularly in the handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to maintain a safe working environment.
    - Team Collaboration: Work with other staff members to maintain cleanliness and order in the shopping areas and assist with any other tasks as required.


    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    - Window cleaning experience is advantageous.
    - Attention to Detail: Ability to perform thorough cleaning and inspections with careful attention to detail.
    - Physical Stamina: Capability to move and handle trolleys and baskets, which may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
    - Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and manage time well, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
    - Communication: Good communication skills to report issues and interact with customers or colleagues.
    - Experience: Previous cleaning experience or specialist cleaning is a plus.
    - Must have driving license.

    Working Conditions:
    - Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals, so proper protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
    - Ability to work in various weather conditions if cleaning outdoor trolleys and baskets.
    - Able to work unsociable hours .Flexible work hours may be required, including weekends and holidays.
