    Job summary We are excited to advertise a full time, Band 7 Team Manager post in the North Yorkshire CAMHS Crisis service. The successful candidate will have the choice of a base at Foss Park Hospital in York or The orchards in Ripon The CAMHS Crisis service operates a 24/7 model within urgent care. The team cover across North Yorkshire, York and Selby. The successful post holder will need to be capable of independent travel across the locality within their working day to support staff operationally and attend service wide meetings. This is a exciting time to join the service and be involved in transformation change within the CAMHS service. We are currently looking to increase the service offer within the CAMHS crisis service and the team manager will play a fundamental part in this development The successful candidate will provide operational leadership for the team, and work in partnership with the local and wider clinical and operational leadership teams across the care group. The role will include but not exclude - the day to day leadership within the team, including supervision, monitoring of KPIs, talent management and service development. We are looking for someone with a Professional registration which would include one of the following - Nursing, Occupational therapy or Social worker.     Job summary The CAMHS directorate in North Yorkshire, York, and Selby locality of TEWV is comprised of the two York Community CAMHS teams based at Orca House, the Selby team based at Worsley Court, the Harrogate Team based at Dragon Parade, the Scarborough Team based at Lake House and the Northallerton Team based at North Moor post will provide input into Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale part of theNY &Y service.It has a Single Point of Access service staffed by an experienced staff team who triage and provide a telephone consultation service to families and referrers. The SPA responds to all referrals and help young people and their families with the process of navigating through the options to find a service that meets their needs. The service works with a model of brief intervention to empower young people and their families in achieving good mental health and well-being. Staff job plans are designed to deliver services described in the TEWV Clinical Pathways, in order to provide high quality evidence-based care. Main duties of the job The Speciality Doctor will provide input to Scarborough CAMHS with regular consultant supervision from Dr Fadl consultant Psychiatrist and additional supervision for ADHD cases from Dr Kennedy. The postholder will contribute to the teams performance objectives and is expected to achieve an average of 18 direct patient contacts per week, representing a mix of new and review appointments, including some emergency assessments under supervision. The postholder is expected to hold a mixed caseload of both ADHD and generic CAMHS cases. The postholder will be responsible, alongside consultant colleagues, for delivery of mental health services up to a young persons 18th birthday for the population of Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale.
