    Job Overview

    Join our clients Team at Bardon- LE67

    Teamwork Partnership is looking for reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers to support our clients expanding logistics operations. Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday shifts ( 05:00 -07:00) If you value safety, efficiency, and great service, this is your opportunity to build a rewarding career with a leading provider.
    Responsibilities

    Daily vehicle checks and reporting of vehicle defects to ensure our fleet is always in top condition and fit for purpose.
    Keeping vehicles clean and maintaining temperature controls in line with delivery specifications.
    Carrying out customer deliveries and collections on time and in full.
    Maintaining strict compliance with EU Tachograph regulations and working time directives.
    Adhering to all Health and Safety policies at Oakland International and all sites you visit.
    Liaising with the Transport Office promptly to escalate any issues.
    Opportunities for nights out are available within our work patterns.
    Supporting the Warehouse team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
    Building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers, fostering a respectful and mutually supportive environment.

    Experience

    A valid C+E driving licence is required with CPC and Tacho Card.
    Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
    Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

    Maintain COSHH assessments, emergency procedures and safety documentation.

    Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive Health & Safety culture.

    What We're Looking For ? NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) ? Previous experience in a Health & Safety management role within manufacturing or FMCG ? Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation ? Excellent communication and coaching skills ? Confident delivering training and influencing stakeholders at all levels ?     The Role Reporting to the Packhouse Manager , you'll be responsible for supervising production operations, improving efficiencies, motivating your team and ensuring customer orders are packed safely, accurately and on time.

    You'll also deputise for the Packhouse Manager when required.

    Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and manage a team of 30 production operatives across 3 packing lines .

    Plan labour and resources to maximise production efficiency.

    Ensure Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene and GMP standards are maintained.

    Monitor product quality and customer specifications.

    Record production data, downtime and quality documentation accurately.

    Liaise with Engineering, Technical and Production teams to resolve issues.

    Deliver training, coaching and performance support to team members.

    Maintain a clean and organised production environment.

    Support the Packhouse Manager and cover during absence.

    What We're Looking For ? Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader or Shift Supervisor within FMCG, food manufacturing or packaging.
