    Job Description

    We have an exciting opportunity within our Journals Production department for a Production Editor to join the team. Production Editors co-ordinate interactions between authors, editors and suppliers during the publishing of articles and issues. Production Editors work closely with third-party suppliers to deliver excellent customer experience by ensuring the publishing process functions effectively across all journals in their portfolio. Key responsibilities:Communicate effectively to provide timely first-rate customer service for authors, editors, suppliers and societiesEnsure article and issue publication run to agreed schedules and budgetsAnalyse errors and defects and put corrective actions in place to ensure quality is improvedMonitor and manage supplier performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outputsDevelop a detailed knowledge of how supplier processes work to collaborate on problem solving, defect management and sharing best practiceShare and communicate best practice with editors, authors, societies, suppliers and internal colleagueUnderstand how journals can be developed and drive through changes to ensure each title is developed to its full potential in line with Taylor & Francis standardsIdentify opportunities for change at the product level and actively sell the benefits to editors and internal colleaguesWork as an enthusiastic and cooperative team player within a dynamic, effective and flexible teamTake ownership and accountability for your portfolio of titles including all communication with internal and external customers and suppliers and error management
    Qualifications

    Knowledge and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of:Working as part of a teamWorking in a process-driven environmentWorking with external suppliers and partnersProject management of small projectsIndustry and market awarenessWorking in a customer-facing rolePrevious experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, full training will be provided.

    Do you have an enquiring mind and an eye for detail?Taylor & Francis Group, a leading global academic publishing company, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Coordinator.  As an integral part of the Sales Team you will be providing an essential link between Sales, Customer Services, Finance and our customers.  The focus will be on Key Accounts and Consortia across the region.  This position is a key role within the eBooks Sales Team working across all subject areas including, Social Science and Humanities, Science and Technical and Medical.This role will be hired on a balanced/hybrid working basis, with the successful candidate attending our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire (OX14 4RN) at least three days per week. You must have the right to live and work in the UK.Closing date 17th October 2025.Key tasks will include:Daily communication with Sales Managers, our Customer Services Team, customers and other departments as needed.Handling customer correspondence, quotations, orders, access issues and other requests via email and telephone.Producing reports relating to titles and price information for customers, subscription agents and Sales Managers.Using internal systems and databases to investigate and answer customer queries regarding subscriptions as well as Open Access, the running of quotes, preparing invoices and compiling details on eBooks title lists and prices. 
    Qualifications

    The successful applicant will need to:Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with our clients and at all levels of the business.Have excellent time management and organizational skills, including experience working to tight deadlines.Have a flexible, proactive and enquiring outlook with an excellent attention to detail.Be supportive of the wider team.Have experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) the ability to search and compile spreadsheets from data.As this role supports sales across the UK/EMENA region, an interest in and awareness of country cultures and/or the ability to speak an additional European language would be advantageous but is not essential. Publishing industry knowledge would also be desired but is not essential as full training will be provided.
