About the Role
As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all maintenance activities across the site, including mechanical and electrical inspection, planning, scheduling, execution, and improvement. You’ll oversee engineering and stores budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and plant reliability.You’ll play a key role in forecasting and managing engineering budgets, leading shutdown planning and execution, and implementing best practices in maintenance systems (CMMS). Your ability to drive defect elimination, root cause analysis, and condition monitoring will be essential in achieving operational KPIs and long-term plant performance goals.Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is a key member of the Plant Management Team and plays a vital role in the contribution to the success and future strategy of the operation.

What We’re Looking ForDegree in Engineering (or equivalent)NEBOSH qualificationProven experience in heavy engineering at a senior level, ideally within cement manufacturingStrong leadership and people management skillsExpertise in CMMS, budget management, and continuous improvement techniquesExcellent communication, influencing, and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of Root Cause Analysis and project commissioning
