    Our Client, a Successful and Growing Environmental Consultancy business, are looking for an Associate Director of Development Planning
    The Role
    As an Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role in planning and overseeing projects, while also serving as an ambassador for the company. You will drive business development by nurturing existing client relationships and actively pursuing new opportunities. Additionally, you will help develop the team's core competencies, assist the Regional Director in daily team management, and take on direct line management responsibilities as assigned.
    Key Skills: Demonstrates effective management and influence across a range of stakeholders.Takes responsibility for line management, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.Supports the technical development of staff and assists in gaining professional accreditation.Builds and strengthens relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring client needs are met or exceeded.Provides technical input into projects and bids, leveraging knowledge to identify new opportunities.Manages the delivery of complex planning submissions and appeals, including acting as an expert witness.Leads strategic planning research, policy development, and assessments of development potential.Provides senior leadership within the Planning Division, ensuring adherence to professional standards and continuous development.

    Our Client, a Successful and Growing Environmental Consultancy business, are looking for an Associate Director of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
    The Role
    We are seeking candidates with extensive expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), encompassing all stages of the EIA process. This includes EIA management and coordination, screening, scoping, and the preparation of Environmental Statements. Given the scale of our projects-particularly nationally significant infrastructure initiatives like large-scale solar projects-experience with post-submission and determination within the Development Consent Order (DCO) and Town and Country Planning Act (TCPA) processes is essential. A deep understanding of the UK's planning system and related legislation is also crucial for this role.
    The ideal candidate will have: Relevant degree or master's in environmental science or equivalent.Recent consultancy experience in a similar Associate/Associate Director role.Expertise in energy, infrastructure, and EIA planning.Comprehensive knowledge of the current UK planning system.Experience with post-submission and determination within the DCO process.Strong client management and presentation skills at senior levels.Excellent project management and report writing skills.Deep understanding of planning legislation across England and Wales.

You will play a key role in delivering a variety of projects, including residential, infrastructure, and energy developments.     Role Overview:This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with a 5-year business growth plan. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be a key member of the landscape team, which includes Landscape Architects and Arboriculturists. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will collaborate with both internal and external environmental specialists. Your role involves delivering high-quality consultancy services and managing complex landscape projects across various sectors, ensuring successful project outcomes from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Lead and manage landscape projects through all stages, including master planning, concept design, environmental coordination, LVIA, and technical tender and construction packages.Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary project teams, liaising with internal colleagues across various environmental disciplines as well as external consultants.Consultancy: Provide expert consultancy advice to clients and internal teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery.Planning and Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with planning systems, from application packages to discharge of planning conditions.Commercial Practice: Manage resourcing, fee proposals, project budgets, and programming, while maintaining good commercial awareness.Team Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff, ensuring the successful delivery of all project components.Requirements:Qualifications: Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute with at least 3 years post-chartership experience (desired but not essential)Technical Skills: Proficient in landscape architecture with strong experience in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and other relevant software.
