You will be instrumental in driving long-term architectural improvements, establishing robust data governance, and ensuring a scalable, secure, and highly performant BI platform that supports enterprise-wide decision-making. /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p ul li strong End-to-End BI Architecture: /strong Own the architecture of the Power BI application estate, designing robust semantic/data models (star schema, DAX) and defining standards for datasets, dataflows, workspaces, and report design. /li li strong Platform Integration Strategy: /strong Architect Power BI integration with Azure/AWS cloud data platforms, and define Premium/Fabric capacity, gateway, and CI/CD deployment pipeline strategies. /li li strong Governance, Security Compliance: /strong Implement tenant-level governance (workspace structures, access controls, sensitivity labels) and establish patterns for Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure compliance with data protection policies. /li li strong Technical Leadership Assurance: /strong Act as the senior technical authority for BI/MI architecture decisions, translating complex business reporting needs into scalable solutions while mentoring developers and BI engineers. /li /ul p br /p p strong Essential Skills Experience /strong /p ul li strong Active Security Clearance (SC): /strong Candidates must hold active SC clearance and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years to meet eligibility criteria. /li li strong Technical Mastery: /strong Expertise in Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling, SQL, and cloud data platform integration (Azure/AWS). /li li strong Governance Deployment: /strong Proven experience implementing tenant governance, RLS, and automated BI deployment pipelines. /li li strong Stakeholder Advisory Skills: /strong Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrable ability to explain complex BI architecture to varied audiences and advise senior stakeholders on strategic technical decisions. /li /ul p br /p
