You will ensure that appropriate interventions, adjustments, and resources are in place and regularly reviewed with the learners to enable all learners to progress and achieve their qualifications. This role requires collaboration with tutors, employers, and external support agencies to provide a fully inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:·To work with and motivate a caseload of learners as assigned by the ALN Manager·To carry out regular ALN reviews with learners, provide additional support and ensure all activity is documented to support ALS funding claims·Effective communication with tutors and the ALN manager regarding learner progress and any specific reasonable adjustments required for individual learners·Support the implementation of strategies to improve accessibility and inclusivity in apprenticeship training·Ability to carry out sensitive conversations with learners when delivering feedback from assessments·To make referrals to the ALN Manager when specific profiles are required·Systems to be updated to a high-quality level after each ALN review, using effective IT skills when using multiple systems·To support the ALN Manager to run support, standardisation and drop-in sessions for tutors·Support training and guidance to tutors on additional learning needs and the best practices for supporting apprentices with ALN·To complete own CPD to aid a deeper understanding of ALN and effective ways to support and motivate learners·Work closely with employers to ensure workplace adjustments are in place and promote inclusive learning environments·Raise any safeguarding concerns to the Safeguarding Team in line with reporting procedures
    Person SpecificationUsing your professional and/or personal experience of ALN, and with a passion for supporting individuals with Additional Learning Needs, you will be able to motivate learners to achieve their goals and support them to achieve their qualification. You will take an individualised yet methodical and organised approach to supporting learners whilst ensuring attention to detail and delivering to the highest possible quality standards.Qualifications and Experience - Essential:·Experience in working with individuals with additional learning needs, ideally in an apprenticeship, education, or work-based learning setting·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams·Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesQualifications and Experience - Desirable:·A level 3 SEND qualification·Experience in using learner management systems and tracking tools·Knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility tools·Understanding of the apprenticeship framework·Experience in using Cognassist assessment tools

    The RoleAs a Personal Development Manager (assessor), you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of apprenticeship & diploma-only learners achieve their health and social care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5 depending on your occupational competence.

    Health and Social Care Assessor
    We are looking for experienced and qualified health & social care assessors to join our team. If you have a passion for driving standards within the health & social care sector through education and are experienced in the delivery of apprenticeships and diplomas within health & social care, read on as this may be the opportunity for you!
    The RoleAs a Personal Development Manager (assessor), you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of apprenticeship & diploma-only learners achieve their health and social care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5 depending on your occupational competence.
    You will do this through conducting progressive visits (a mixture of remote video calls and face to face meetings at the learners’ workplace) with every learner each month - supporting, motivating, and encouraging them to achieve their qualification within the agreed timeframes. You will have a clear set of KPI’s and will manage your own diary to ensure you achieve these.
    Your key responsibilities will include:Engaging with learners and employers monthly to gain commitment to programmeDelivering effective teaching and learning sessions in line with the curriculum approach to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours as defined in the apprenticeship standards - adhering to Ofsted and Awarding Organisation requirements and best practice for teaching, learning and assessmentEnsure submission and assessment of learner evidence in a timely manner to show learner progressionCarrying out observations of learner practice in the workplaceSupporting learners to achieve their maths and English Functional SkillsSupporting learners to successfully pass End Point AssessmentPromoting and safeguarding learner health and wellbeingRecognising and report any safeguarding concerns relating to staff, learners, adults at risk or children.

    RequirementsCurrent, extensive and relevant vocational experience (min 2 years) in the adult / elderly health & social care sector, including Dementia and Learning Disabilities at a Senior Carer level or aboveHealth and social care qualification at Level 3 or Level 5Experience of working within work-based learning/educational settings and hold an Assessor qualificationIdeally you will hold a teaching qualification at Level 3 or aboveGood English and maths skills, preferably to GCSE level or equivalent (C or above)Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlinesExperience of working autonomously, having excellent time management, organisation and planning skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholdersExcellent IT Skills – ability to navigate internal applications and use Microsoft packages
    Salary Level 5 - £30,000Level 3 - £27,000
