An established specialist business supporting high-value projects across the nuclear and wider industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Commercial Business Account Manager to take ownership of key customer relationships, commercial performance and strategic account development.
This is an influential commercial position that combines account management, financial forecasting, contract support, supplier coordination, and cross-functional project delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to protect profitability, strengthen customer partnerships and support continued business growth.
The role offers significant responsibility, direct exposure to major customers and Tier 1 supply-chain partners, and the opportunity to contribute to complex projects within a highly regulated industry.
The role
As Commercial Business Account Manager, you will act as a primary commercial point of contact for key customers, contractors, suppliers and supply-chain partners.
You will combine strong account management with financial awareness, contract support and operational coordination to improve customer satisfaction, profitability and overall account performance.

What we are looking for
Previous experience in commercial management, account management, contract management or business development
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margins, forecasting and profitability
Experience preparing quotations, proposals or commercial documentation
Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver to deadlines
Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments
Previous leadership, team-management or team-coordination experience
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and email
Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable but not essential
Experience within nuclear, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, energy, construction or another regulated industry
Knowledge of NEC3 or similar commercial contracts
Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers
Supplier, purchase-order or stock-management experience
Health and safety awareness
Degree-level qualification or equivalent commercial experience
A packaging background is not required. More important is your ability to understand customer requirements, manage commercial performance, build trust and make things happen.
