    Do you have what it takes to transform society?Are you currently working in the water sector looking for a new challenge in project delivery / management, resource management and work allocation, if so, we would especially like to hear from you.We are looking for a talented and motivated Delivery Manager to join our Asset Management Business Unit to lead a team working on our Yorkshire Water Operational Technology (OT) Framework. The role can be worked flexibly, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office/on site. Office based working will be from our Leeds office and will also include travel to client offices.What does the role involve?You’ll lead the team and be accountable for the project management, people leadership, financial results, client outcomes, project quality and commercial awareness across the team as well as undertaking high level project activities in alignment with your technical expertise. Key roles and responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners through active client engagement and building strong relationships by ensuring excellent delivery and expert knowledge. Embedding a culture of work winning, project quality and commercial awareness and ensuring the team is engaging with the regional and national game plan campaigns and leaders to maximise work winning and bid opportunities. Identifying potential workload/resourcing issues as early as possible to ensure resources are deployed to optimum levels to avoid under-utilisation and/or burnout.Taking responsibility for the effective and consistent delivery of projects within the team using the project management framework. Providing oversight on project progress within the team by understanding progress against project objectives, supporting colleagues through challenges, identifying and escalating risks where appropriate.Contributing towards knowledge management of the team including developing and sharing best practice, investigating and promoting the adoption of new technologies, systems and processes and promoting technical excellence.Supporting delivery of financial KPI’s within the team including billing ratios, average fees, FTE levels and EBITA. Working with the team to mitigate negative movements in KPIs and provide feedback and context to the Team Manager.To be successful in this role you’ll possess:Experienced in Project Management and Resource Allocation.Extensive experience in the Asset Management/Water industry working for a consultancy with a thorough understanding of framework arrangements and delivery.Knowledge of Operational Technology requirements within the Water Industry.Experience of resource management by effectively balancing workload delivery, resource planning, employee development and wellbeing. Good client relationship skills to be able to work with the rest of the team to build on existing strong relationships.Experience of relevant tender/bidding processes with the ability to understand the brief and demonstrate our professional capability.Strong leadership skills to enable you to be a pro-active part of the business unit management team working alongside and providing support to the wider team in the development of overall objectives.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt your style to suit difference audiences.Proven decision-making skills to support commercial and resourcing decisions within defined parameters.Demonstrable experience of operating and influencing at a senior level.Experience of delivering across a multi-site organisation.Membership of a relevant professional body.
