    We’re looking for an Assistant Survey Manager to support the successful delivery of rail, monitoring, and engineering projects across the UK.     As a Survey Technician Apprentice at Survey Solutions, you have the exciting opportunity to progress your career within the geomatics sector for a leading engineering surveying company. You will follow the company’s structured training program and undertake on-the-job training lead by experienced surveyors, giving you the unique opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You will work on exciting and varied land and measured building or underground utilities surveying projects, learning to conduct surveys on site using innovative technology and how to process data in the office. This position is based from our Brentwood office.The Apprenticeship:You will undertake the Geospatial Survey Technician Level 3 apprenticeship at Suffolk New College. Attending college 1 day per week over a 2 year course (plus a 3-6 months end point assessment period).You will learn the knowledge, skills and behaviours to become a Survey Technician in line with the CICES competencies. The course focuses on gathering and processing geographic data from sources, creating 2D or 3D drawings, models for architecture, construction and engineering industries.Apprentices will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in in Geospatial Surveying and gain the skills to apply for Associate membership with the CICES. Career Progression:Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, and Survey Solutions' internal training programme, you will be able to complete your own surveys independently and to a high standard, working as a Survey Technician. You will also gain professional membership from the CICES.
