    We are recruiting for an experienced Complex Carer (working with individuals in the community with spinal or brain injuries, tracheostomies, ventilators) who either has experience of supervising other carers or is looking for progression to a Field Care Supervisor. Do you have experience of working with adults and or children who have complex care needs (spinal injuries, ABI, tracheostomy care, ventilators) and want to support these individuals on a 1:1 basis to enable them to live safely at home? If so, then read on… About the role Based across Essex, working with the Complex Care team, the field care supervisor will conduct direct observations, competency checks, appraisals and ensure staff receive regular supervisions. You will also be expected to carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments and update these as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager assigned to your team. In addition to working hands on with the clients, you will be responsible for staff meet and greets, new starter inductions, identifying potential gaps in rotas, ensuring team members uphold high standards of care, attending team meetings and recognising any areas of poor practice that need to be addressed. Requirements A supervisory/Coaching qualification or to be willing to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification. Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist and enteral feeding.
