Job Description
Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Barnsley.The role is based from Barnsley and will involve Stores, RDC’s, Warehouse deliveries and general haulage work, along with supporting the wider Stobart and Culina network when required. This role can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking. Shifts: Any 5 from 7 - 16:00pm-21:00pm start window. Salary: All rates include a Tier payment and a Meal allowance. Mon-Fri Days - £14.50 per hourMon-Fri Night Shift - £15.80 per hourSaturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.50 per hourSaturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.00 per hourBank Holidays - £18.31 per hour.
Qualifications
You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictionsUnderstand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislationAble to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctlyShould comply with on-site health and safety requirementsExcellent communication skills
