HGV Mechanic Responsibilities: Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and site vehicles. Conduct pre-MOT checks and ensure all work meets DVSA/VOSA standards. Complete all required maintenance records and service documentation accurately. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. Support the wider transport team with ad hoc maintenance or operational duties as needed. HGV Mechanic Experience: Recognised qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices and workshop standards. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class CE desirable but not essential).
