TRAINING & WORKING PATTERN 12 weeks training, the first few weeks you will work on Monday-Friday at 9-5pm. Thereafter, training will continue during your regular shift hours which will be; 2-10pm.WHAT YOU WILL DO Following a highly regulated end to end sterilization/decontamination process on surgical instruments that have been used in operations in local NHS and private hospitals, to ensure they can be used again safely for the next patient. Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, surgical instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards. Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards. Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively. Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak). Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person. WHAT YOU WILL DO Business Management: 30% Facilitates the development and expansion of the region’s business by initiating and nurturing key relationships and associations in the Life Sciences industry. What is needed to be successful Bachelors’ degree preferably in Chemistry, Biology, Science or Engineering required. Demonstratable successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences market with responsibility for multiple products.
