    Administrator Salary: £23,700 - £25,500 per annum Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week Location: York (please note this role is office based, five days a week) The Role STEM Learning's central administration team plays a key role in the provision of administrative processes and procedures required for the effective delivery of our CPD, projects and programmes.

    We are looking for a full-time administrator to join this efficient and supportive team and contribute towards a quality administrative support service for our internal and external customers.

    Key tasks include: Administrative tasks from across all areas of the business.General administrative support including data processing using spreadsheets and databases.Liaising with internal and external customers.Supporting on reception during times where cover is required.To provide administrative support and a measurable contribution to the agreed KPIs.To upload course and event information to our booking system.Customer service through answering queries and calls. The ability to work as part of a large busy team and show exceptional communication skills is of high importance given the strong customer service aspect of this role.

    Previous office or administration experience is not essential but preferred, however you must possess a good level of education (or equivalent experience) and be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills coupled with the ability to learn and work with new systems quickly and easily along with the adeptness to multi task. Our administrators are adaptable and go the extra mile to support our business which constantly evolves in order to improve lives through STEM education.

WRK digital are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with STEM Learning, whose digital platforms support STEM teaching in collaboration with the UK Government, employers large and small and over , school teachers. No matter the service, STEM Learning's aim is always the same – to provide a world-leading STEM education for all young people across the UK that is enabled through a comprehensive collection of high-quality digital services. The role The team, head quartered at the National STEM Learning Centre in York, are embarking on an exciting period of growth, and are looking for a Head of Digital to join them. There is a salary of £72, - £80,pa, plus an extremely generous holiday entitlement of 30 days plus bank holidays and access to a fantastic USS pension scheme with circa 21.6% employer contributions. The Head of Digital is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Deputy CEO. The role is accountable for the development and delivery of a digital and technological strategy to ensure STEM Learning meets its current and future business needs – in particular, the use of technology to reach a wider audience more effectively and efficiently. The Head of Digital will lead and inspire several teams and be accountable to ensure maximum value is achieved through the organisation’s digital and technological resources at pace. The excellent teams you will be responsible for include: Service support, Digital products, BI & Data, Software Engineering and Compliance. The key deliverables • Achieving a user-centred, purpose-driven approach to digital transformation targeted at delivering valuable outcomes. • Maximising the use of data and technology to enhance STEM Learning’s impact and reach – improving the teaching and learning of STEM subjects throughout the UK. • Advocating the value and potential of technology internally and externally. • Ensuring the right technology choices are made to deliver operational resilience as part of STEM Learnings diversification strategy. The key accountabilities • Develop and implement at pace an innovative digital, data, and technology strategy with multiple transformation roadmaps. • Create a first-class IT support experience for a range of internal and external user groups. • Advocate the use of technology to enable efficient internal and external collaboration. • Creation of a technological environment that maximises STEM Learnings impact and financial and commercial resilience. • Lead on the design and implementation of accurate and robust data analytics and reporting frameworks that provide insights into the performance of STEM Learning's programmes, services and operations, and that inform strategic decision making. • Provide leadership and guidance to the teams within the department, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver high-quality digital solutions at pace. • Ensure that the infrastructure is robust, data is protected, and services are scalable and secure, meeting applicable governance, compliance and legal requirements. This includes ISO certification, Cyber Security Plus, GDPR, Gov.uk service standards and technology codes of practice. Provide specialist advice to the organisation’s compliance teams. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners, funders, and suppliers, to ensure that STEM Learning's digital infrastructure is aligned with the needs of the wider STEM education community. • Work closely with the programme and communications teams to drive engagement with STEM Learning's products and services. • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of STEM Learning's operations.
