Together, we are CAVU.    The role   We are currently recruiting for Hospitality Hosts to join our Airport Hospitality Team.      Principal Accountabilities include:     Provide a meet and greet service to users of the Lounges, dealing courteously and efficiently to ensure a world class level of customer service Ensure Lounge facilities are maintained to a high standard and consistently presented in line with the Standards of Operations, carrying out the required daily standards check. Deal with and report on any discrepancies, together with recommendations for solution. Ensure accurate records are maintained of all Lounge customers including. Maintain the database of all bookings. Take monies (credit/debit cards and cash) for direct bookings either by telephone or on the day of travel and reconcile all monies taken. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in according to the product directions and in accordance with the alcohol licence. Assist with clearing and organising the lounge ensuring a high standard of hygiene in the preparation, service, and guest areas. Maintain stock levels, date and rotation and replenish food and beverage buffet service in the lounge. To dispose of waste, including recycling, in the appropriate manner and if required to remove it to the designated location.      What will make you successful in the role?   We are looking for someone who has/is:      A solid background in general customer service, hospitality or retail  A team player with an absolute first-class approach to customer service Numerical and analytical skills Computer literate on mainstream PC applications including Microsoft office Experience of working on own initiative Willing to work on a flexible basis    Please note you must be a minimum of 18 years old to comply with our alcohol service policy.    Early shifts can start as early as 3am and late shifts finishing as late as 8pm.     Principal Accountabilities include:     To follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing and cooking all varieties of foods.  Operate a variety of kitchen equipment.  Prepare foods to be cooked. Some of the preparation procedures are, but not limited to, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding.  Maintain the food offering ensuring presentation meets operating standards  Maintain stock levels, receive delivery of supplies, ensure stored correctly, rotate and maintain.  Ensure floors are swept and mopped or vacuumed, ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitised and stored correctly. To assist with clearing and organising the kitchen ensuring a high standard of hygiene.  To dispose of waste, including recycling, in the appropriate manner and if required to remove it to the designated location.  Liaise with subcontracted suppliers, Airline representatives, handling agents and booking agents to develop positive working relationships to ensure the efficient operation and development of the Lounge . This hands on role provides strong kitchen leadership while delivering an outstanding dining experience.     The Senior Chef will lead in Manchester’s Executive Airport Lounge. This is a premium, high end space for discerning travellers, offering a refined atmosphere with self service buffets, high quality food and drink options, and the choice of seated dining. Open daily, it reflects the luxury and exclusivity of the Escape brand.
    Principle Accountabilities:    Menu & Food Standards: Deliver all dishes to required specifications, ensuring exceptional flavour, consistency, and presentation. Brand Representation: Act as a positive ambassador for CAVU Experiences, promoting its values and contributing to a professional, creative, and guest focused culture. Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to gather feedback, accommodate requests, and personalise their dining experience. Regularly review feedback data to identify trends and improvements. Commercial Responsibilities: Manage ordering, receipt, and supplier relationships to maintain stock levels and resolve delivery issues. Monitor and record food waste, analyse data, and support sustainable kitchen practices. Assist with accurate monthly and ad hoc stocktakes. Back of house include but are not limited to, restocking of food & beverages in the lounges, clearing tables, loading/unloading the dishwasher, rotating stock, and keeping the kitchen and lounges clean and tidy To work flexibly to the rota, typically shifts are confirmed at least two weeks in advance.     What will make you successful in the role?   A solid background in hospitality and service sectors, with a proven track record of high-end delivery A team player with an absolute first-class approach to customer service Experienced in and with demonstrable examples of flexibility across long trading days Numerical and analytical skills to process and interrogate data in order to provide performance information to deliver on budgets Computer literate on mainstream PC applications including Microsoft office Experience of working on own initiative, capable of building solid and beneficial relationships both internally and externally Experience of working in a similar hospitality/lounge setting would be beneficial
