    What You Will Do:

    As a Lift Engineer at Stannah, you will:

    What You Will Need to Succeed:

    As our new Electronics Senior Buyer, you’ll take the lead on 2-3 key commodity areas, managing up to 8 critical suppliers with a combined annual spend of £48 million.

    This is a fantastic opportunity as a senior-level role, where you can use strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships in both domestic and international markets will thrive.

    It is essential that you have previous experience in supplier relationship management, procurement, contract negotiation as well as supplier auditing experience.

    Experience in commodity market analysis and cost reduction strategies would be desirable.

    Electronics Senior Buyer Responsibilities:

    • Manage supplier relationships across 2-3 commodity areas, with accountability for up to 8 critical suppliers.
    • Lead contract negotiations, implement supplier agreements, and manage annual procurement spend of £4-8 million.
    • Drive cost reduction initiatives, support new product development, and facilitate smooth product change implementations.
    • Conduct supplier audits, manage PPAP submissions, and lead problem-solving initiatives for supplier-related issues.
    • Influence continuous improvement activities within the procurement function, focusing on efficiency and cost savings.

    Electronics Senior Buyer Requirements:

    Essential

    • Proven experience in supplier account management, procurement - with a focus on direct raw material procurement
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Ability to manage both UK and overseas suppliers, including supplier audits

    Desirable:

    • MCIPS or ACIPS qualification is desirable, or willingness to study towards ACIPS.
