Our Kirkwall depot operates a fleet of 33 Public service vehicles, providing vital transport across Orkney. What does the role involve: As an Engineer at our Kirkwall depot, you'll play a key role in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include carrying out routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and reliability standards. You'll work as part of a skilled team, following scheduled maintenance plans, responding to defects, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Whether it's performing inspections, diagnosing faults, or carrying out major component changes, you'll help ensure our passengers get a smooth and reliable journey every day.
